The only turf left to their na now was this crappy station, and it still technically belonged to the Lei clan. But they all knew very well: if the other side wanted, they could take it back any ti.
From what Lin Chuan had just said, Lei Ming tasted sothing off. This guy was very likely here to snatch away his last bit of turf. What annoyed him was, these three were all carrying big bags and small bundles, and there was even a woman with them. They didn't look like they belonged to any underground gang at all.
Keeping a certain distance from where Lin Chuan was standing, Lei Ming finally asked cautiously, "Who the hell are you? Why're you asking so much?"
"Relax. I'm not so big shot, and I don't have any mighty backers." Seeing Lei Ming's nerves, Lin Chuan smiled as he spoke.
Lei Ming secretly let out a breath of relief. Hearing Lin Chuan admit out loud he was just an ordinary guy, that shrinking turtle aura he'd lost just now slowly started gathering back.
"But I want to first get a feel for your strength and the situation, so I can be prepared for when I take over your boss's chair. Oh, forgot to tell you in advance—your boss's surna will be changing to Jiang." Lin Chuan said it breezily.
Back in East Sea County, Lin Chuan had been fretting over how to settle his future life. He hadn't expected to stumble right into business delivered to his doorstep—becoming Lei Ming and his crew's boss.
Judging from their clothes and the way they acted, Lin Chuan was sure they were just small-ti punks hanging around the train station. He didn't have the capital to play at big deals, but being the leader of this gang of punks was no problem.
From now on he could live days where clothes were handed to him and food was served to his mouth, with chicks on his bed—just thinking about it felt pretty damn sweet.
"You working for Baldy?" When Lei Ming heard Lin Chuan talk about being their boss, his heart gave a lurch. He stared a long ti before lowering his voice to ask.
"Baldy?" Lin Chuan also froze. Sa na as that guy he knew? He quickly shook his head and smiled. "I don't know this Baldy you're talking about, and I'm not interested in him. But that doesn't stop from being your boss."
The slight bend in Lei Ming's back slowly straightened. He circled Lin Chuan a couple tis, giving him a careful once-over, then suddenly snickered. "What a shitty day. Didn't run into any rich folks, but I did bump into a few lunatics."
"Boss, cut the crap. Hurry up and see if these guys got money. Who cares if they're nuts. That chick's pretty nice—if Boss doesn't want her 'cause she's crazy, how about you let …" One of Lei Ming's lackeys said with a lewd grin, his hand slowly reaching for Wu Yuanyuan's pretty face as he spoke.
"The fuck you think you're doing? Stop right there. A chick I've got my eye on, and you dare lay a hand on her? You got a death wish?" Lei Ming barked, stopping his underling. He eyed Wu Yuanyuan, that greasy smile creeping back onto his face.
Just now, a single sentence from Lin Chuan had scared Lei Ming into a cold sweat. He'd really been worried Baldy would bring people over to snatch his last bit of turf. But since they'd admitted they weren't Baldy's n, they were probably just mouthing off to scare him. With that, Lei Ming's courage slowly ca back.
To keep these guys from secretly taking advantage of Wu Yuanyuan, Lin Chuan pulled her into his arms, one hand lightly circling her waist, then silently tightening his grip bit by bit, until her full breasts were firmly pressed against his chest.
The hand around Wu Yuanyuan slowly advanced like an army taking a city, inching forward. In the end his middle and index fingers were lightly resting right on the edge of her soft breasts, and only then did Lin Chuan stop, satisfied.
Wu Yuanyuan was his, and her body was his too. Every extra look these guys took at her, Lin Chuan felt like a piece of his own flesh was being sliced off. Only by constantly feeling the softness of Wu Yuanyuan's body could Student Lin Chuan feel grounded.
"Lin Chuan, you're squeezing too tight, it hurts." Wu Yuanyuan felt it getting harder and harder to breathe and grumbled in dissatisfaction from within his arms.
Lin Chuan ignored her complaints. Staring at Lei Ming and the others, eyes cold, his tone frosty as he said to Er Niu, "Er Niu, I'll give you five minutes. No problem taking care of this lot, right?"
Er Niu nodded and grinned. "No problem. Since Brother Lin Chuan has spoken, of course I'll do it. I already thought this bunch was an eyesore. Now that Brother Lin Chuan says I can make a move, I can finally loosen up my joints."
With that, Er Niu suddenly lashed out with a kick, his foot slamming into the body of a young guy standing right next to him, who wasn't guarded at all.
The poor bastard didn't even have ti to react before his whole body flew backward, sailing through the air a good four or five ters. Only then did he crash to the ground with a smack, completely knocked out cold.
"Er Niu, go easy. I told you to teach them a lesson, not beat them to death. If you cripple all of them, how the hell am I supposed to be their boss? You, you—are really fucking dense."
Lin Chuan glanced at the guy Er Niu had kicked. A few ribs were probably broken. Even if they saved him, he'd be half-crippled. He couldn't help hopping mad and cursing Er Niu out.
"Uh, heh… Bro, my bad. I might be your boss later, but don't worry. Even if you're a cripple from now on, I'll look after you for the rest of your life." After scolding Er Niu, Lin Chuan turned back and apologized to the poor bastard Er Niu had knocked senseless.
"Brother Lin Chuan, I know I was wrong, but that's just how my hits land. I really don't know how to pull my punches." Hearing Lin Chuan scold him, Er Niu quickly stopped what he was doing and answered in a small voice.
Lin Chuan scratched his head. This really was a headache. He looked at the group and finally said, "Leave this one called Lei Ming intact for . As for the rest, at most break one arm or one leg each. That work?"
"Got it." Er Niu agreed readily. Like a tiger pouncing into a flock of sheep, with every move he made, the guys swarming him ended up with either a broken arm or a broken leg. In no ti, the air was filled with screams of pain.
The screams could be heard from far away, to the point where people who'd planned to take this path all crushed their curiosity and hurriedly detoured.
Er Niu's speed was fast. He didn't even need the full five minutes before he had everyone lying on the ground. He clapped his hands, a simple, honest smile on his face as he walked back to Lin Chuan's side.
Seeing the smile on Er Niu's face, Lin Chuan really couldn't connect him with the rciless demon who'd just been beating people senseless.
Ruthless and decisive, no rcy at all—that was Er Niu while he was fighting. Now he looked simple and honest, even a bit wooden.
All Lin Chuan could do was secretly sigh, "Er Niu, you're really damn good at pretending."
Lei Ming was completely dumbfounded. The unease from the very beginning had turned into legs trembling now. All he could do was curse his own bad luck in his heart, not knowing what the hell he should do.
"So, I can be your boss now without any problem, right? Man, if I'd known this earlier and you'd just admitted I'm your boss from the start, you wouldn't have had to suffer all this flesh pain." Lin Chuan let go of Wu Yuanyuan, leaned in close to Lei Ming's face, and said with a teasing grin.
Being stepped on feels like crap. Lin Chuan knew that all too well. But what he was enjoying now was stepping on others—and that felt damn good. He really wanted to do this a few more tis.
"Who the hell are you people? If you're with one of the big gangs, we'll admit we lost. But if you're just here to stir shit, I…" Lei Ming wanted to spit out so tough-guy lines, but seeing all his lackeys sprawled on the ground, he knew talk was useless. He wisely shut up.
What puzzled him, though, was: who the hell were these people? Normally, anyone who beat them up would run off right after. No way they'd keep going on about wanting to be his boss. Could there really be another gang in East Sea County trying to muscle in?
"Didn't I already tell you? We're not working for anyone, we've got no 'gang power.' We just happened to run into you, and I got an itch—I wanted to play at being your boss and enjoy the feeling of having people kiss my ass."
Lin Chuan really didn't get how this idiot called Lei Ming had managed to beco the head of this bunch. With mory this bad, he was dumb as hell.
"You're not lying to ?" Lei Ming still had doubts.
"What do you think?" Lin Chuan didn't bother arguing. He just stuck his fist out in front of Lei Ming's face and gave him a show, pretending to be pissed.
In this world, whoever's fists are harder makes the rules. Today, Lin Chuan felt even more clearly just how great it was to have a hard fist.
Lei Ming said nothing more and silently lowered his head. He snuck a glance at his scattered, groaning lackeys and could only wail inwardly, "Heavens above, earth below, we just ca out to scrape together so booze money, how the hell did we run into a bunch of walking monsters like this? Is being a small-ti punk really this hard nowadays?"
