The phone rang.
Tang Yung quickly cald down her complicated emotions and answered the phone: "Yifan, are you looking for ?"
"Yes." Bai Yifan nodded and said, "Yung, I heard you've secured an investnt with Zhu Corporation?"
"Yes!" Tang Yung nodded.
With Bai Yifan's influence in Jiangbei City, it's pretty normal for him to be aware of such governntal secrets. Therefore, Tang Yung did not show any surprise.
"I also heard you're bothered about agreeing to Mr. Fujii's conditions?" Bai Yifan asked with a smile.
"How do you know?" Tang Yung asked in confusion.
It was one thing that he knew about this affair, but how could he be privy to such detailed information? This mystified Tang Yung. Such news should only have been reported to Secretary Song of the Provincial Committee. Bai Yifan had no way of knowing about this.
"Of course, I know." Bai Yifan said with a smile: "Because you are the woman I love the most in this lifeti. That's why I have always been paying attention to you. Every move you make, everything about you."
"I..." Tang Yung was at a loss for words and did not know how to respond to him, because Bai Yifan's words were just too straightforward, too brazen.

"Okay." Upon hearing this, Tang Yung imdiately agreed without hesitation.
"I'll pick you up right now!" Bai Yifan said cheerfully.

"Sis, you're so beautiful." Xiao Xue couldn't take her eyes off her.
"Am I?" Tang Yung smiled.
"Of course." Xiao Xue nodded and said, "To be known as one of the golden flowers of Jiangbei City, how could you not be beautiful?"
"Little girl, when did you learn to be so slick with words like Lin Chuan?" Tang Yung wrapped herself in a black scarf and then walked out.
"I haven't." Xiao Xue huffed softly.
When she went outside, Tang Yung saw Bai Yifan's white rcedes parked at the gate.
And Bai Yifan, dressed in a white Armani suit with white leather shoes, was standing by the front of the car. As soon as he saw Tang Yung coming out of the City Committee building, he imdiately opened the rear car door. The security guard at the door looked on with envy.
"Damn, it's good to be wealthy," one guard muttered coldly.
"Yeah!" Another guard nodded and said, "With money, you can win over our goddess. Tsk tsk..."
"Stop dreaming. Behind every goddess, there's a man who's so bored of climbing on top of her that he feels sick."
A few guards watched Tang Yung's retreating figure, swallowing hard. Tang Yung was indeed breathtakingly beautiful. A woman of her age is at the pri of her life. A pretty face, an alluring figure, mature and sexy, intellectual and elegant. Any man at the peak of his strength would be drained dry.
"Xiao Yu, you are really beautiful," Bai Yifan couldn't help but complint.
"Thank you," Tang Yung got into the car.
Bai Yifan hastily got into the driver's seat, then drove off.

When he got back ho, Mrs. Lin was cooking. Nuo Xiaoxi had co back for the weekend. Today was Monday, so she went back to school early for classes. "Chuanzi, take this al to Xiaoxi's mom," Mrs. Lin instructed.
"Okay!" Lin Chuan nodded. He picked up the thermal container and walked towards Nuo Xiaoxi's house.
The health of Nuo Xiaoxi's mother was deteriorating day by day; her complexion was waxier than before, and her body seed to be failing. Although the doctor said it was late-stage cancer and hinted she wouldn't live more than three months, Lin Chuan had not disclosed this information. For a patient, despair is the greatest assassin. Now that two months had passed, the situation did not seem as bad as imagined.
"Auntie, it's ti to eat," Lin Chuan walked in.
"Chuanzi, is that you?" Nuo Xiaoxi's mother hurriedly tried to get up, struggling a few tis without success.

But she, after a long silence, nodded and said, "Actually, Zhou Rui is a good girl, and I think you two are quite well-matched. Although I once entrusted Xiaoxi to you, it was just a joking remark. You shouldn't let that delay your marriage prospects."
"Auntie, what are you... what are you talking about?" Lin Chuan asked in surprise.
"Everyone in the factory is talking about you and Zhou Rui," Nuo Xiaoxi's mother said with a wry smile, "Everyone thinks you two are quite well-matched. So... so, I think my Xiaoxi might not be good enough for you. After all, you are doing so well now, running a company, earning so much money each month..."
