"That's different." Tang Yung shook her head and said, "Bai Yifan will always just be a friend, and can never beco a romantic partner. Right?"
"So you an, we might beco romantic partners in the future?" Lin Chuan asked with a smile.
"Yes!" Tang Yung blinked, her beautiful eyes seemingly speaking for themselves, as she leaned into Lin Chuan's arms and said, "You should understand that every woman has a sense of romance. I hope my man can be a tall and upright hero, as well as soone with a romantic streak. Not just physically strong. Get it?"
"Got it!" Lin Chuan nodded.
"Really?" Tang Yung looked at Lin Chuan with delight.
"Have to be both an ox and a horse!" Lin Chuan laughed.
"What do you an by that!" Tang Yung's face imdiately turned from sunny to overcast, and she glared angrily.
"Being an ox ans to toil and provide for the family; being a horse ans to be the knight in shining armor in your eyes, right?" Lin Chuan's explanation was quite far-fetched.

Tang Yung burst into laughter, shaking like a peony in bloom, and said, "Your explanation... really leaves speechless."
"Don't worry, one day I will definitely make the deepest, longest confession to you," Lin Chuan patted his chest and said, "I will let the whole world know that I love you."
"Okay, I'll be waiting." Tang Yung raised her eyebrow, seemingly doubtful that Lin Chuan would dare to do so.
"Alright, you wait and see." Lin Chuan grinned.

Having said that, Lin Chuan's hand slapped Tang Yung's bottom. Suddenly, like a startled cat, Tang Yung sprang up from Lin Chuan's lap, glaring at Lin Chuan, teeth clenched in anger, and cursed, "Bastard, you... you're a bastard."

"How co you seem as if you've eaten sugar?" Luo Guoqing asked curiously.
Lin Chuan passed a cigarette over and laughed, "I sent the Northeastern Tiger packing, how could I not be happy?" The loudest voices at the demolition site belonged to that group of people.
"What?" Luo Guoqing's hand trembled, and the cigarette almost fell to the ground. He hurriedly picked it up and said awkwardly, "You're not kidding, you really chased the Northeastern Tiger away?"
The first part might have been Luo Guoqing's sincere surprise, but the latter was clearly deliberate, and he even raised his voice so the people in the lounge could hear. Luo Guoqing knew that aside from Vice Secretary Song, the Song brothers' main backer was the Northeastern Tiger. In the City Committee, Vice Secretary Song didn't pay much attention to his two good-for-nothing nephews. So their biggest support could only be the Northeastern Tiger.
Now, with Lin Chuan having chased away the Northeastern Tiger, it was, in a sense, a slap in the faces of the Song brothers.

Right then, Song Wu hurriedly grabbed Song Wen's arm and said, "Big brother, don't get agitated."
"Damn it, I can't stand this kid anymore." Song Wen was annoyed.
"Aww, did I strike your master's pride?" Lin Chuan laughed, "Why is his dog barking here, when your master hasn't said a word?"
"Fuck it, I'm going to take you on." This ti, Song Wen's volatile temperant erupted. Even if he couldn't beat Lin Chuan, he decided to go all out against him.
He swung the folding chair at Lin Chuan, who neither ducked nor dodged. He knew Song Wen's skills were not enough to lay a hand on him. As Song Wen charged at him, Lin Chuan's legs suddenly pushed off the ground, and he, along with the chair, slid outwards.

Lin Chuan was fast, and he ruthlessly smashed the folding chair on Song Wen's back. Song Wen staggered, nearly falling. Although Song Wen had undergone so training, compared to Lin Chuan, his skills were simply no match.
"Ouch..." Song Wen scread in agony.
Inside the break room, many onlookers watched the scene, cheering and excited to see Song Wen get severely beaten by Lin Chuan.
At this point, Song Wu couldn't stand by any longer. Quietly, from a corner, he swung a baseball bat up and aid a fierce blow at Lin Chuan from behind.
"Lin Chuan, watch out!" Luo Guoqing shouted out in alarm.
Lin Chuan instantly ducked, dodging Song Wu's attack, and delivered a spinning kick straight into Song Wu's chest.
The man flew out like a ball, overturning a table and several chairs in the break room before landing. Neither of the Song brothers was a match for Lin Chuan, even when they tead up.
Lin Chuan stepped on Song Wen's chest: "Kid, if you dare to ss with again, it won't end like this."
"You!" Song Wen's face turned deathly pale; grinding his teeth, he wished he could flay Lin Chuan alive. Unfortunately, he was now immobilized, forced to watch as Lin Chuan humiliated him in front of so many people.
"What 'you'!" Lin Chuan said with a cold laugh: "I'm asking you, do you submit or not?!"
"I don't submit!" Song Wen said through clenched teeth.
Crack, crack...
The pressure from Lin Chuan's foot suddenly increased, and one of Song Wen's ribs snapped, eliciting a continuous scream of pain. Lin Chuan controlled his strength just right, to inflict agonizing pain without killing him.
"Do you submit now?" Lin Chuan asked.
"I... I... I submit!" Song Wen hastily surrendered, thinking of the term 'endure humiliation to bear a heavy load.' He could yield now but soday, he'd surely take back what he lost. Today's humiliation was for the sake of tomorrow's revenge.
"Try barking like a dog!" Lin Chuan commanded.
"Lin Chuan, don't push your luck." At this mont, Song Wu got up, his hands tightly gripping the baseball bat.
Lin Chuan turned to look at Song Wu, who was already charging towards him with a ferocious look in his eyes, as if he wanted to tear Lin Chuan apart. A sinister smile played on Lin Chuan's lips.
Song Wu's baseball bat crashed down hard on Lin Chuan's head.
To everyone's surprise, Lin Chuan caught the bat with his bare hands. That strike must have weighed over a hundred pounds of force. An ordinary person couldn't have caught it, and even if they did, it could have shattered bones or fractured their hands.
But Lin Chuan seed unscathed, calmly looking at his opponent, then said with a smile, "Song Wu, you brought this upon yourself."
With that said, Lin Chuan snatched the baseball bat from Song Wu and, raising it high, brutally smashed it down on his thigh.
"Ouch..." Song Wu scread in agony.
The thigh is one of the most pain-sensitive areas of the human body; the muscles contracted sharply with the blow, causing waves of excruciating pain that surged through Song Wu's brain and body. He fell to one knee, and Lin Chuan raised the bat again, this ti landing the blow on the nape of Song Wu's neck.

Song Wu collapsed imdiately.
Lin Chuan moved so quickly it was done before anyone could react. Even Luo Guoqing couldn't see how fast Lin Chuan had struck. The opponent was down in an instant. Lin Chuan pressed the baseball bat against the nape of Song Wu's neck, pinning him down so he couldn't move.
Nobody knew what strange thod Lin Chuan had used, but sohow, he made it so Song Wu could only struggle without being able to move a muscle.
"Lin Chuan, you better let us go, or you'll pay dearly," Song Wu bellowed in anger.
Lin Chuan dismissively replied, "If you want to let you go, it's easy. Just bark like a dog obediently, and I'll release you."
Sohow, while no one noticed, the door to the break room had been closed; thus, nothing that happened inside was heard or seen from the outside. Naturally, no one would alert others. Besides, many in the break room had suffered humiliation from the Song brothers, so they inwardly hoped soone would teach them a good lesson. And now, their chance had co. Soone quietly closed the door.
In the break room, more than a dozen people sat in a corner, watching Lin Chuan deal with the Song brothers. The two brothers, usually so arrogant and overbearing, were now lying on the ground like dead dogs, even though they were still blustering, they remained suppressed by Lin Chuan.
"Hurry up, bark like a dog," Lin Chuan demanded, hitting Song Wu with the baseball bat.
