855: Chapter 855 Fierce Strike (Part 3) 855: Chapter 855 Fierce Strike (Part 3) The Holy Envoy felt the hairs on his body stand on end, an intense sense of crisis surging into his heart.

At this mont, half of the Shadow Elder’s body had already entered the black vortex.

Gritting his teeth, the Holy Envoy also decided to step into the black vortex beside him.

As long as he entered the vortex, he could leave this place instantly, and he would be safe!

“God Annihilating Slash!” Just then, a faint voice arrived.

The Holy Envoy, who already had half of his body in the black vortex, was suddenly frozen in place, unable to move!

The Holy Envoy’s face was filled with shock and horror.

This lock of energy—it could even restrain the Power of Space!

Such a thing was unheard of!

“Who are you?” The Holy Envoy roared in anger, black ripples emanating from the Demon’s Horn on his forehead in an attempt to break free of the energy lock.

But it was all futile.

A sword light shot into the sky, and the piercing Sword Qi instantly flooded the heavens and earth!

The wind ceased, the clouds dispersed, and even the sunlight seed to lose its brilliance!

It was replaced by Sword Qi—omnipresent, indestructible Sword Intent!

Though Ling Feng was only using a weakened version of the God Annihilating Slash, to the Holy Envoy, it was still an unstoppable force.

Even Captain Hans and Archbishop Berkeley, standing far off, couldn’t help but retreat dozens of ters away.

“Too terrifying.

Facing this Sword Intent, I can’t even muster the will to fight!” Captain Hans felt cold sweat drip down his face as he muttered to himself, sensing the Sword Intent in the air.

“Who is this peerless powerhouse?”

Archbishop Berkeley’s face also turned grim.

He hadn’t expected Ling Feng’s strength to be this overwhelming.

The sheer volu of Sword Qi and Sword Intent was enough to instill dread in anyone!

“Ling Feng, just how many hidden cards do you have?” A hint of unease surfaced in Archbishop Berkeley’s heart.

He suddenly started questioning whether the alliance ford between the Papal Court of Light and Ling Feng would truly benefit the Church.

With such overwhelming power, would soone like Ling Feng really submit to the Church’s commands and whims?

A question unwillingly took root in Archbishop Berkeley’s thoughts.

Under the ripples of Sword Qi, Captain Hans already appeared inept, not to ntion the Holy Envoy directly locked onto by the Sword Qi.

He felt as if he were trapped atop Sword Mountain, with countless sharp blades pressing in from all directions.

The overwhelming Sword Qi was crushing his very nerves!

“No!

How could I possibly be intimidated by such a lowly creature?” A ruthless gleam appeared in the Holy Envoy’s eyes.

The Demon’s Horn on his forehead emitted a brilliant black light, and a set of black Bone Armor erged over his body, enveloping him completely.

“Slash!” A crisp word echoed from the void.

Instantly, all the Sword Qi, all the Sword Intent, condensed into a single sword light.

That sword light shone brightly like a blazing sun, descending from the heavens and racing toward the Holy Envoy.

“Ha!

I’ve already activated my Bone Armor.

You can’t possibly break through my defense.

This is my Ultimate Defense!” The Holy Envoy laughed wildly.

“How could you, pathetic humans, ever defeat us Abyssal Beings?

You…”

“Crack!” Before the Holy Envoy could finish his sentence, the sword light flashed past, piercing through his chest.

The Holy Envoy’s Ultimate Defense—the Bone Armor he had been so proud of—was as fragile as paper under the might of this sword light!

“Impossible!

How could this be?” The Holy Envoy muttered to himself.

Imdiately, a soul-wrenching pain coursed through him.

Wherever the sword light passed, Sword Qi seeped into his body, relentlessly destroying his flesh and nerves.

With a loud “thud,” nearly half of the Holy Envoy’s body fell from the sky, dark green blood splattering across the battlefield.

“Roar!” The Holy Envoy roared in fury.

As the energy lock dissipated for a brief mont, he turned and vanished into the black vortex, leaving behind a vengeful declaration: “The day I recover will be the day you all perish!

I swear it—I will kill every last one of you!”

Ling Feng, masked and hovering in midair, paid no mind to the enraged declaration of war from the Holy Envoy.

It was rely an Abyssal Being acting as a vanguard, its strength at most at the peak of the Demi-God Domain.

And with its current injuries from the Sword Qi, it would take at least a year or two to recover.

As his gaze fell upon the fallen half of the Holy Envoy’s body, Ling Feng waved his hand.

It was as though an invisible force lifted the severed body from midair.

Forcing open the Holy Envoy’s fist, Ling Feng retrieved an ancient parchnt scroll into his own palm.

If it weren’t for this map, Ling Feng wouldn’t have revealed such overwhelming power in front of Archbishop Berkeley.

Watching Ling Feng nonchalantly pocket the parchnt scroll, Captain Hans couldn’t help but twitch at the corner of his mouth.

Although he had no interest in the Atlantis Continent map, this parchnt scroll was still one of the Louvre’s prized artifacts.

Yet this master had taken it without the slightest hesitation, leaving Hans feeling a pang of heartache.

After securing the map, a fiery excitent burned within Ling Feng.

With the nine maps of the Atlantis Continent, he now possessed two alone, aning he stood to gain greater authority and safer conditions in the upcoming explorations.

“Senior!” Seeing that Ling Feng seed ready to leave, Hans couldn’t resist calling out to him.

Ling Feng turned with a faint smile on his lips.

“What is it, Captain Hans?

Are you planning to ask for the parchnt scroll back?”

An awkward smile crossed Hans’ face.

“Senior, you must be joking!

I wouldn’t dare harbor such a thought!”

Who was he kidding?

A single slash had almost killed an expert far stronger than himself.

Even with ten tis the courage, Hans wouldn’t dare blatantly ask for it back!

“Then what is it you want to say?” Ling Feng said nonchalantly, “My ti is precious, so don’t waste it with idle chatter.”

Hans bowed respectfully.

“I rely wish to know Senior’s na so that I can express my utmost respect!”

Ling Feng’s eyes glimred as he replied, “You need only know that I hail from the Holy Mountain.”

With that, he turned and disappeared without a trace.

“The Holy Mountain?

Could he be one of the Lord Main Gods from the Alliance of Gods?” A look of amazent crossed Hans’ face.

“There have been rumors of the Main Gods in the Alliance of Gods possessing godlike power, yet they keep an incredibly low profile, residing solely atop the Holy Mountain.

Could he truly be one of them?”

Archbishop Berkeley cast a pitying glance at Hans.

The poor fellow had clearly been misled by Ling Feng.

But who could bla him?

How could Hans imagine that the unparalleled “Senior” Ling Feng would deceive him?

“Now that matters here are settled, it’s ti for to take my leave,” said Archbishop Berkeley.

“Captain Hans, I’ll leave the cleanup here to you!”
