The original plan of the Sky Demon Clan was to lure the Human Clan army within a million miles of the Demon Tower, then use the tower’s Suppressing Aura to deal them a heavy blow.
However, they also knew that the Human Clan was not foolish, and it wouldn’t be easy to get them to obediently enter the Demon Tower’s suppression range. Since the ergence of the Sky Demon Clan, the Demon Tower has been in the Demon Domain, so it’s impossible for the Human Clan to be unaware of the attack thods and range of the Demon Tower.
Even though they knew the likelihood of the Human Clan obediently entering the suppression range of the tower was low, the Demon Kings and Demon Generals of the Sky Demon Clan still held onto a glimr of hope. What if the Human Clan, in a mont of heated passion, charged in?
Now, using the tower to suppress Jing Yan would clearly make the Human Clan army a million miles away even more cautious, and they would be less likely to enter the tower’s suppression range easily.
"At worst, we’ll just stand off against the Human Clan army and delay, which will be to our advantage. The reinforcents coming from the Red Skin Demon Domain have already set out, and they should enter the Green Skin Demon Domain in at most a month or so," the blue-skinned commander said.
The other Demon Kings nodded in agreent.
What they needed to do now was to use the Demon Tower against Jing Yan. If they ignored Jing Yan, the Sky Demon Army around the tower would suffer. During the first skirmish, they all realized Jing Yan’s combat power; with just one sweep of his sword, he could annihilate a thousand demons.
"Do it!"
"Suppress this damned despicable fellow for ," ordered the blue-skinned Demon King.
"Yes!" responded the Demon General in charge of operating the tower.
...
"Hmm?"
"Why did they stop attacking?" Jing Yan’s eyes narrowed slightly.
The black light fired from the tower had vanished.
"Hmph, let’s take it out on the Sky Demon Army first!" Jing Yan did not approach the tower but instead moved towards the Sky Demon Army.
Jing Yan didn’t dare get too close to the Demon Tower, unsure if he could avoid those black beams. Although the Sky Demon Army tried to keep close to the tower, their large numbers ant not all of them could be near it.
"That human is coming."
"Quick, spread out! Do not cluster together. If we spread out, he won’t be able to kill too many of us at once," the Sky Demon Army stirred, desperately dispersing and maintaining distance from each other.
"Die!" Jing Yan unleashed the Chaos Sword.
"Buzz buzz!"
At this mont, energy fluctuations surged again from the Demon Tower.
After Jing Yan slew over a hundred Sky Demons with one strike, he imdiately turned his gaze toward the Demon Tower. He saw a black shield forming around the tower, emanating a terrifying power. In a short mont, the black shield spread out, its vast, overwhelming power instantly covering an area of a million miles.
"So this is the Suppressing Aura of the Demon Tower?"
"Such strong power!"
Jing Yan channeled the power of his Inner Body World to resist the power from the Suppressing Aura. The suppressing aura of the Demon Tower couldn’t be compared with the attack power of the black beam. Naturally, the Suppressing Aura radiates over a million miles, while the black beam acts in a straight line. Purely in terms of attack power, if the suppressing aura matched the Black Death Light, it would indeed be bizarre.
Nonetheless, the Suppressing Aura was still extrely terrifying. Even an ordinary Human God Lord, if caught under the aura for long, might be suppressed to death.
Under the Suppressing Aura, Jing Yan was sowhat affected, needing to constantly mobilize the power of the Shadow World to counter the external suppression forces.
"The Suppressing Aura is effective; continue using Death Beams to blast this human to pieces," shouted the blue-skinned Demon King from within the Demon Tower.
"Whoosh!"
Several black Death Beams shot out rapidly, aid at blasting Jing Yan.
"Ultimate Nihility!"
"Damn it!"
Jing Yan gritted his teeth.
The Suppressing Aura severely hampered Jing Yan’s Ultimate Nihility Domain. Although the Suppressing Aura itself couldn’t pose a lethal threat to Jing Yan, it affected the space within a million miles, freezing the Power of Laws and making it extrely difficult for Jing Yan to deploy his Ultimate Nihility Domain.
"Phew!"
"Almost got hit." Just before a Death Beam struck his body, Jing Yan barely managed to deploy his Ultimate Nihility to evade it.
However, as he dodged this Death Beam, more beams were fired from the tower, attacking in succession. Even if Jing Yan could dodge once or twice, evading ten or eight tis would be incredibly difficult.
Finally!
Jing Yan was struck hard by a Death Beam.
"Boom!" Jing Yan’s body was hurled backward, the energy defense of the Shadow World on his body surface erupted in extrely bright light, and brilliant Divine Patterns surrounded him.
The Demon Kings inside the tower erupted in cheers as they saw Jing Yan hit by the Death Beam.
"Hit by the Death Beam, can Jing Yan survive?" one Demon King exclaid.
"This Jing Yan is different from normal humans; his physical body is incredibly strong, even surpassing us Sky Demons. We confird this in our previous skirmish. Just being hit once may not kill him outright. However, it should greatly injure him; even our strongest Demon Kings can’t withstand a Death Beam." The blue-skinned Demon King said slowly.
All four Demon Kings stared wide-eyed in the direction where Jing Yan was sent flying.
Outside the Demon Tower, a million miles away, Chunyu Venerable and other mbers of the Human Clan were constantly watching the tower and Jing Yan. Seeing Jing Yan struck and knocked back, their hearts tightened, well aware of the Death Beam’s power.
"Attack! Hit the Suppressing Aura and try to weaken its power," Chunyu Venerable commanded.
"Boom boom boom!"
Countless Human Clan strong, all channeled their Divine Power to attack the Demon Tower’s Suppressing Aura. Their attacks could indeed have an effect. First, they could drain more of the Demon Tower’s energy. Secondly, this could relieve so of the pressure on Jing Yan.
"Tsk tsk..."
Jing Yan halted in space, took a deep breath, and steadied his turbulent blood. In an instant, he checked the condition of his Inner Body World.
"Truly formidable! Just one hit shook my Shadow World. If I’m hit more, I’ll get injured. If I get struck dozens or hundreds of tis, I might get blasted apart!"
Jing Yan couldn’t help but admire the power of the Demon Tower.
"It seems, to quickly dominate the Green Skin Demon Domain, I must first take down the Demon Tower!" Jing Yan squinted his eyes to a line.
