All five Chaos Slayers have arrived.
"Hehe..." One of them chuckled softly.
This person was dressed in gray attire, with a face full of wrinkles. However, these wrinkles were different from those resulting from natural aging; they resembled the bark of a tree. On his chest were two intertwined silver rings, the mark of a Second Ring Slayer from the Slaughter God Temple.
Among the five, only this person was a Second Ring Slayer.
"Since everyone is here, let’s introduce ourselves. After all, we will be working together to complete a slayer task. Getting to know each other is not a bad idea." After the bark-skinned man chuckled, he said these words.
"My na is Gu Mie, Third-step Daoist Realm!" the bark-skinned man continued.
"I am Jin Kun, Second Step Dao thod Realm, a One-Circle Slayer!" Next, the man with the most robust build among the five introduced himself.
"My na is Liu Sha, Second Step Dao thod Realm!" The woman with a veil and a striking figure stated.
Her voice was sowhat icy, and even though she wore a veil, everyone present could feel a vibe warning others to keep their distance.
"You two rookies, introduce yourselves as well." Jin Kun turned his eyes towards Jing Yan and Luo Bing.
The signs on Jing Yan and Luo Bing’s chests were gray, indicating they had never completed a slayer task. For slayers like them, being called rookies was normal.
Luo Bing, sowhat nervous, said, "I am Luo Bing, at the One-step Dao thod Realm."
"No need to be afraid, little sister. This task isn’t that difficult, it should be easy to complete. Besides, we have Fellow Daoist Gu Mie, a mighty Third-step Dao thod Realm cultivator overseeing it. Haha, we’re in luck." Jin Kun said with a smile, also glancing at Gu Mie, his tone carrying a hint of flattery.
Gu Mie is at the Third-step Dao thod Realm and also a Second Ring Slayer. In this continent, Second Ring Slayers aren’t that common. For a slayer to advance from First Ring to Second Ring, it typically requires completing dozens of One Ring Slaughter Tasks. In terms of experience, it indeed would be quite rich.
No one knows why Gu Mie would take on a not-so-difficult One Ring official slayer task.
"My na is Jing Yan, with Peak Cultivation of the Earth Realm." Jing Yan introduced himself with a smile.
"Earth Realm? So weak!" Jin Kun looked at Jing Yan, frowned.
Among the five, only Jing Yan was at the Earth Realm. Next was Luo Bing, but at least she was at the One-step Dao thod Realm. It seed that Jing Yan’s strength was the weakest. Jin Kun seed a bit disdainful of Jing Yan’s low strength.

"Hmm, this is a five-person group task. Without five people, the task won’t comnce. Let’s not waste ti waiting for another slayer." The highest-ranked Gu Mie said.
With Gu Mie saying so, Jin Kun didn’t say much else. Of course, task rewards are directly related to individual performance, so to so extent, bringing a weaker slayer along doesn’t greatly affect those stronger slayers.
"Slayers, are you ready to set off?" At this point, a staff mber walked in to ask.
"Ready, we can set off anyti!" Jing Yan and the others responded one after another.
"Co with !" The staff mber said.
An entirely dark red Chaos Flying Ship was already waiting in the Chaos Void outside the continent. There wasn’t a large Teleportation Array on the mini-continent Jing Yan and the others were heading to, so they needed to use the Chaos Flying Ship to get there.
This Chaos Flying Ship belonged to the Slaughter God Hall and was an extrely high-end Chaos Flying Ship with amazing speed and high value. This Chaos Flying Ship was dozens of tis faster than Jing Yan’s, capable of direct Void Shuttling, similar to Jing Yan’s use of the Ultimate Nihility for traveling.
Three months later, the Chaos Flying Ship slowed down.
As soon as the Chaos Flying Ship slowed down, Jing Yan and the others knew the mini-continent, their task destination, should be near. Indeed, the Slaughter God Hall’s staff used telepathy to invite them to exit the cabin.
Jing Yan and the others quickly assembled on the deck.
"Slayers, the task location has been reached. Ahead is the mini-continent occupied by an alien creature from the Devouring Heaven Clan. Your task is to annihilate this creature. "Rest assured, Daoist Jin Kun. I will be careful." Jing Yan smiled, saying little about Jin Kun’s disdain.
The veiled woman Liu Sha, her eyes under the veil seed to give Jing Yan a deep glance but didn’t say much.
"Alright, let’s set off and enter the mini-continent first." Gu Mie waved a hand and said.
Five streams of light swiftly approached the mini-continent ahead.
Upon entering the continent, all five imdiately felt the Law’s chaos and the extre instability of the material energy, evident signs of Devouring Heaven Clan creatures’ activity. The creature had already devoured much of this continent’s material energy.
"Fellow Daoist Jing Yan, be cautious, let’s not separate." Luo Bing telepathically said to Jing Yan.
"Luo Bing, if encountering the Devouring Heaven Clan creature, do not leave my side." Jing Yan, looking a bit serious, telepathically said to Luo Bing.
Jing Yan had already sensed the aura of a Devouring Sky Clan creature. What made him look solemn was that on this mini-continent, there seed to be more than one Devouring Sky Clan creature.
Jing Yan spread his Divine Soul, covering a vast region of the continent. Within this area, there wasn’t a single Life Form. Judging from various indications, this continent should have originally hosted quite a few Life Forms. Now, with no signs of Life Forms, they must have either been devoured or captured.
