They accrue many material resources, storing them inside their physical bodies without absorbing them, then bring them to the fortress, delivering the resources to designated locations.

Transporting resources is relatively cumberso for Devouring Heaven Clan creatures; their speed decreases significantly, and they expend considerable energy during transportation.

This temporary gathering of Devouring Heaven Clan, specifically, could be considered a transport team resting here. Despite having many material resources within, they belong to the Mother, which they dare not absorb or attempt to consu.

Upon obtaining this information, Jing Yan was understandably overjoyed. He was in desperate need of resources, and these Devouring Heaven Clan creatures were indeed a transport team. Killing them would bestow him with a substantial amount of resources.
