Inside the Ancient Family Mansion Clan Chief’s Courtyard, within a majestic building.
A man wearing a water blue robe, with a refined appearance, looking to be about fifty years old to the average person, filled the entire room with his powerful presence.
He was the current Patriarch of the Gu Family, Gu Jinlan.
At this mont, the man who guarded the Great Hall of the Life Tree stood before him.
"Clan Leader, I... I don’t know what happened either!" Brother Wen’s eyes reddened, on the verge of tears; he was indeed terribly frightened.
That was Gu Xinghe’s Life Tree, could Gu Xinghe really have died? If he had truly died, then how did he die?

At that mont, a sudden voice ca from behind him.
Instinctively using the Sky Wings, Jing Yan darted to a distant spot in a blink, and only the limited space of the room prevented him from retreating even further.
In an instant, he was covered in a cold sweat.
There was soone in the room?
"Eh?"
As Jing Yan looked intently at the person who had spoken to him, his brow furrowed slightly again.
"My young friend, don’t be nervous, I an you no harm," the faint voice continued from within the shadowy figure, "I am just curious, as you do not seem to be a descendant of my Ling Family."
"Could you possibly tell , how did you learn to use the Sky Wings?" The voice from within the shadow was very amiable.
