Inside the Gai Family, others did not know the purpose of Jing Yan’s visit to East Gate County, but the Gai Family Ancestor Gu Wanquan did. Upon hearing the news, he knew for certain that Jing Yan’s father, Jing Lunnan, must have been rescued by Jing Yan.
He felt angry and sowhat bewildered.
How did Jing Yan know that Jing Lunnan was imprisoned in East Gate County?
This matter was only known by a handful of people within the family.
Saint Master Shen Chong indeed knew that Jing Lunnan was in the Gai Family’s hands, but in Gu Wanquan’s view, Saint Master Shen Chong should not have known the exact location where Jing Lunnan was held.
Doubts were doubts, but the fact that Jing Yan knew Jing Lunnan was in East Gate County was undeniable. Otherwise, could it be that Jing Yan just stumbled upon East Gate County by complete accident?

Several days later, Jing Yan returned to the Hall Master Mansion in the Holy City and also brought his father, Jing Lunnan, out of the Qiankun Small World.
"Jing Yan, have we left East Gate County?" Jing Lunnan, erging from the Qiankun Small World, looked around at the environnt and hesitantly asked.
"Yes, this is the Holy City. I am now the Hall Master of the Holy Palace Holy Hall, and this is the Hall Master Mansion," Jing Yan replied to his father with a smile and a nod.
"Jing Yan," Senior Tianshui said that there was a martial artist nad Qu Duo in East Gate County that you killed—was that Qu Duo really a Dao Emperor Realm peak practitioner?" Jing Lunnan asked, eyes wide.
Inside the Qiankun Small World, Jing Lunnan was unable to know what was happening outside. However, the residual soul of Tianshui within the small world could. When Jing Lunnan first encountered the residual soul of Tianshui, he was startled. But soon, the two of them began speaking quite familiarly. While Jing Yan was fighting Qu Duo, Tianshui also relayed the situation happening outside to Jing Lunnan in real ti.
Knowing that a Dao Emperor Realm peak practitioner was slain by Jing Yan, one can imagine how Jing Lunnan felt.
"Father, my Martial Arts Cultivation is also at the Dao Emperor Realm peak. And the Dao Emperor Realm peak practitioners I have killed are not just one," Jing Yan stated with a smile.

"I heard from Senior Tianshui that my mother ca from the Despair Abyss," said Jing Yan.
"Yes, your mother’s na was Chu Lianxing, and she indeed was from the Divine Race. However, your mother was not a bad person." Jing Lunnan, fearing that Jing Yan would be adverse to his mother’s identity as part of the Divine Race, hastened to explain.

"Your mother ca to the Heavenly Origin Continent from the depths of the Despair Abyss through that secret passage," Jing Lunnan said in a low voice.
Upon hearing this news, Jing Yan too was slightly shaken.
