Chapter 203: Chapter 203: The True Beast Of Night – 1
Damian opened his eyes after going through his status in a couple of seconds.
Then he looked in the direction of Twilight Castle, and his vision passed through kiloters of distance, entering his personal quarters inside the castle.
He glanced at the five beauties sleeping soundly on the bed.
“I’ll be back before you wake up…” Damian muttered to himself, and in the next second, his figure disappeared.
His figure reappeared in the world of Werewolves known as Vargheim.
As soon as he appeared, the first thing he noticed was the warmth of the sun gently falling on him, giving him a long-lost feeling.
“It’s been a while since I was under the sun…” Damian opened his eyelids, revealing his red irises as he looked directly at the sun in the bright blue sky.
He had been in Nightingale for over a month now, and since that world didn’t have a sun, he had almost forgotten this feeling.
Unlike Nightingale, Vargheim possesses both a sun and a moon, similar to Earth.
But unlike Earth, each day on Vargheim lasts for about 30 hours.
Around 10 of those hours are dayti, and the remaining 20 hours are completely dark, with a massive moon hovering over the land, casting a bright white glow.
Damian couldn’t help but compare the three worlds he had been in: Biblical Hell, Earth, and Nightingale with Vargheim.
Every ti he traveled to a new world, he felt a joyful excitent.
The experiences of walking different lands, encountering unique inhabitants, atmospheres, landscapes, and animals, each distinctive to their world, had beco sothing of a hobby to him.
And he liked it.
[Your understanding of the Law of Travel has increased.]
“Hmm.” Damian took a deep breath of the forest’s freshness carried by the wind as he looked around.
He saw large trees with broad, dark green leaves towering in size, resembling coconut trees from Earth.
Damian remained in his Vampire Progenitor form.
He hadn’t transford into his Alpha Werewolf form because there was no need.
For his [Alpha Werewolf] race to transition into [Progenitor Werewolf], he needed to be directly under the full moon and absorb a great amount of [Lunar Essence], which is generated by the moon.
Until nightfall, he could focus on getting familiar with the Alpha Werewolves of this world.
A visible reddish-black aura began to seep out of him, covering his figure like flas.
The aura grew more intense as waves of his presence spread outward in every direction like fiery shockwaves.
In an instant, his monstrous presence swept through kiloters of distance.
All the animals native to Vargheim fled in fear.
Colorful birds took to the sky, chirping to signal the presence of a powerful being, while beasts ran in every direction.
The highly intelligent beings, such as the Alpha Werewolves, felt a massive surge of energy, a monstrous aura the likes of which they had never felt before.
“Hm. That should get them here fast,” Damian said with a smile, sensing multiple presences rushing toward him at super speed.
Within seconds, dozens of Alpha Werewolves appeared, stopping a few ters away from him.
They stood still and observed him from a distance…
They could feel the incredible strength emanating from him.
To put it simply, it was monstrous and limitless.
More than that, they felt a certain oppressive presence from him…
The unmistakable essence of the [Blood of the Night King].
But that constitution was known to be uniquely possessed by the Progenitors of the night creatures, naly the Vampire Progenitor, the Werewolf Progenitor, and the Ghoul Progenitor, beings known as the Kings of the Night.
If this being truly possessed the Blood of the Night King…
Did that an he was the King of the Night?
Then, all the Alpha Werewolves were reminded of a being that had been rising through the ranks like a tsunami, one who had already beco the Progenitor of Humans and Vampires…
“Welco to Vargheim, my King…” Sia Milvyra bowed.
Following her, Veyla Serelith, Selia Ravendor, Avenya Rughal, Leona Lunark, and Lea Morvain all bowed on one knee and lowered their heads in unison.
These six won were the sa ones the Werewolf Goddess Lenora had chosen to be the representatives of the werewolf race and perhaps even his future wives.
Lenora understood her husband very well.
She knew that she, Alia, and Avaline would not be enough to satisfy his needs.
So she had chosen these six won, all of whom she had known for a long ti.
Watching the six powerful Alpha Werewolves kneel and address him as King, the rest of the Alpha Werewolves realized who he was.
He was the man foretold to beco the Progenitor of Werewolves.
In fact, the one destined to beco the Progenitor of all races.
His status as Progenitor of Humans and Vampires was already proof enough.
“Welco… the Great King of All Night Creatures…” the rest of the Alpha Werewolves followed suit, kneeling and lowering their heads to greet the King of the Night.
“Hmm…” Damian nodded gently, a small smile on his face.
“I’m not your Progenitor yet…” the Vampire King said as he walked toward the Alpha Werewolves.
The monstrous aura he had been emitting rapidly retracted into his body, disappearing as if it had never existed, displaying his abnormal level of control over his energy and power.
“I will beco the Progenitor as soon as the moon rises…” the Vampire King continued, gesturing for the Alpha Werewolves to return to what they were doing before his arrival.
He looked at the six Alpha Werewolf won who had remained.
“Raise your heads,” the King of the Night commanded.
The six won raised their heads and looked at their king’s face.
His srizing red eyes felt like they were pulling them into a crimson abyss.
Though Werewolves by nature disliked the Vampire race, they couldn’t help but be drawn to Damian.
Even though he was the highest-ranking Vampire, he was just too charming.
Their ancestral rivalry seed to vanish, replaced by a strong desire to be with him.
Damian’s eyes glowed with a strange, thick neon blue light as he activated his unique ability, [Eyes of Heaven and Earth], and observed the six won from head to toe.
He sensed sothing familiar within them, and in the next second, he found it.
It was sothing divine.
“Hmm… Lenora gave you her blessings, huh?” Damian nodded.
He could feel and see the presence of blessings, of the concepts of the moon, family, and protection, within all six won.
“Yes, my King… The Queen Goddess gifted her blessings to us a long ti ago, when we were training under her as her disciples,” said Sia Milvyra, a woman with a mature figure.
“I see… how long until dusk?” the Vampire King asked.
“The moon will rise in about two hours, Your Highness,” Avenya Rughal, another mature-looking woman, replied.
Damian sighed, shaking his head.
The won grew concerned upon seeing the great King shaking his head, as though displeased.
“M-My King… is sothing wrong? Are you not pleased?” Sia Milvyra asked in a nervous tone.
“Hm? Oh, no… I’m just bored. Incredibly bored…” the Vampire King rubbed the back of his head and chuckled.
“Anyway… my Lenora told you wanted to beco the ministers representing the Werewolf race in my court?” the Night King asked.
“Yes, we do. We want to serve Your Highness,” Selia Ravendor said with a determined expression, showing that she truly ant it.
“Hmm. Just to be clear… serving for all eternity. Do you understand what that ans?” the Night King narrowed his glowing red eyes at them, making them shudder under his gaze.
“Your complete existence, your life, body, mind, and soul, everything that makes you who you are… will belong to no one but , and alone…” the Vampire King said slowly.
His words only deepened the won’s sense of submission.
“I hope you understand what you are signing up for… because once you do, there is no going back.”
The won were silent for a few seconds as they fully comprehended his words.
Their Queen Goddess Lenora had already explained this before asking them to serve her husband for eternity.
But hearing it directly from the Great King himself was a vastly different experience.
They could feel his presence as though they had known him for lifetis.
Even after knowing the consequences, the six won remained resolute.
Their minds were still calm and steady.
It seed they truly understood what they were agreeing to.
“Good…” Damian smiled in satisfaction.
“As expected of my very competent wife… she knows too well.” Damian couldn’t help but smile warmly.
“Hmm. You said you were my wife’s disciples, right?” the Night King asked.
“Yes… the Queen Goddess has been training us, helping us achieve godhood… for about 500 years now,” Lea Morvain explained.
“Hmm. 500 years, huh… You are incredibly strong. I won’t deny that. Lenora has done a great job.”
“But no matter how many tips, insights, and training she gives you, godhood is ultimately about self-realization, self-discovery, and understanding your purpose.”
“Of course, your bodies must also be strong enough to sustain divine power, and my wife’s training has already made you as strong as mid- to high-level gods…” Damian continued.
“You are more than ready to beco goddesses. But the reason you haven’t isn’t due to a lack of training. It’s because you haven’t begun to truly realize your existence as goddesses yet…”
Upon hearing his words, the six won looked a bit disappointed.
“Hehe, don’t worry… becoming a god is extrely difficult. Even gods struggle to improve their divine powers. But that’s only true for others…” Damian continued.
“You are with now… I will make you achieve godhood myself as soon as I ascend, which won’t be long,” Damian said as a strange golden-white glow seeped out of him.
It wasn’t as intense as his aura, but it was clearly visible.
“By the looks of it…”
“Anyway,” Damian continued, “take to the place where the highest amount of Lunar Essence is generated during moonrise at dusk… ”
“…To the place where I will awaken as the Progenitor of Werewolves, the Original Beast of Night.”
