The System Awakens: Rise of the Champion Chapter 215: The Effects of Mixing Traits

Damian made love to the six werewolves for around two days before the won beca too tired to continue.

They eventually fell unconscious, without any strength left in their bodies.

Unlike them, Damian was still raring to go, but his wives were already deep asleep.

So he simply stayed with them on the bed as the sisters, Lea and Leona, hugged him from both sides, sleeping soundly with the happiest expressions on their faces.

Damian closed his eyes as he used the connection he had with the five countesses to appraise their current status.

They had been in a state of sleep for more than two days now, and he could sense that in a few minutes they would wake up.

"I should go see them," Damian muttered as he gently removed Lea and Leona’s arms draped over his chest and placed them softly back on the bed.

He got up and stood beside it.

He sighed while looking at the six sleeping won.

"I should control myself more... their souls are too weak to handle making love with . My power is just too great for them to endure. I have to keep in mind not to overdo it, at least not to the point where they fall unconscious..."

Damian pointed his hand at the six won as a small magic circle appeared and disappeared in a second.

The remnants of their love juices, sweat, mixed scents, and bloodstains on the bedsheets vanished as if they had never been there.

Then, he proceeded to cover them with blankets.

"I will be here when you wake up," he smiled, and in the next instant, disappeared from the place.

Damian appeared right inside the Twilight Castle, located at the center of Twilight City, the largest of the five great cities of Nightingale.

He entered his personal quarters without making a noise and looked at the huge bed in the center, where five naked won were sleeping peacefully.

He raised his palm, and a cut appeared on his skin.

Five drops of blood flew from it and landed on each of their foreheads before entering their bodies.

Their bodies released a small blue glow for a millisecond.

"There... with the traits of werewolves, your physical bodies will beco significantly more powerful and continue to grow stronger as you train. The weaknesses you had as noble vampires will slowly diminish... and animalistic instincts and a powerful life force are a nice addition as well," Damian muttered with a smile.

He shook his head.

He could just watch them like this for thousands of years and still wouldn’t get bored.

He observed them for a couple of minutes before returning to the throne hall and taking his seat on the throne.

[Shiru: My King, your trusted servants seek your highness’s audience]

"Ha, my loyal assistant, would I ever reject you?" Damian muttered, and within seconds, four won appeared before him.

They were none other than the four High Humans to whom Damian had given the traits of noble vampires: Shiru, Maria, Yuki, and Ana.

As he looked at them, he felt a strange sensation assaulting his senses.

It was like he had known them for far longer than he could understand.

It was the sa sensation he felt from the five vampire countesses and the six alpha werewolves, all of whom he had made his wives.

In fact, in his past life, his 13th lifeti to be exact, when he t his three goddess wives, Lenora, Avaline, and Alia, he felt this sa sensation.

Like they belonged to him.

Like, he should have them as his, no matter what.

That was the first ti he had ever felt anything like that in all his 13 lifetis since the ti he ca into existence.

That’s what made him want to learn more about the three won in the first place.

But as he spent ti with them, he began to love them a little too much, and eventually, he married them.

The rest is history.

In the past few days, he had started to feel those sa sensations again, this ti from the five vampire countesses and the six werewolf won.

"Hmm... what the hell is happening here?"

And now, he could feel the sa attraction coming from the four High Humans kneeling in front of him as well.

The confusing part was that he didn’t feel it before today.

It was as if sothing had triggered it out of nowhere, and he didn’t know what exactly it was.

It was the sa with the vampires and werewolves as well.

When he t the countesses for the first ti, he didn’t feel it, but once he beca the Vampire Progenitor, the sensation began.

"Surely this is not sothing that spontaneously occurs... sothing must be causing this. I just have to find out what or who it is."

Damian thought that a theory began to form in his mind.

"Could it be...? But to have that happen, I’d have to beco much stronger than I am now... Do I even have the potential to grow that strong? I guess there’s no use thinking about it since the future is not static and constantly changing. But if my theory is true... this is getting truly ridiculous."

Damian shook his head, dismissing the insane thoughts from his mind.

"You look great, all four of you," the Human King said. "I guess everything is going smoothly on Earth. And Morris?"

"It sure is, my lord. Lucian has proved himself very useful. We have successfully conquered the world of Morris with his advice and direction. The process of integrating their technology and dicine into our world is already underway," Shiru replied with a stern expression.

"...We’ve also finished constructing a castle for your lordship," Maria added proudly.

"Is that so? Good work then," the Human King nodded as he looked at Yuki, who seed more excited than usual.

He activated his innate ability [Eyes of Earth and Heaven] and scanned all four of them inside and out, every nook and cranny, then raised an eyebrow in surprise.

"You’ve all grown stronger, much stronger than I anticipated. I’m impressed," the Human King nodded.

"All thanks to you, Your Highness," the four won replied, their faces turning red as they saw the charming smile on his face.

"Hmm... co closer..." The Human King’s eyes glowed with a strange light.

The won’s smiles vanished as they felt the atmosphere shifting into sothing intense, and without hesitation, they walked forward and stood closer to the throne.

"You’ve all beco even more beautiful since the last ti I saw you," the Human King said, rubbing Ana’s cheek before turning to Maria, who lowered her head in shyness.

"As the Progenitor of Vampires, I made the five Countesses my wives. As the Progenitor of Werewolves, I made those six werewolves my wives. But as the Progenitor of Humans, I haven’t made any High Humans my wives yet."

The Human King lifted Maria and Yuki’s chins, making them look into his eyes.

"I wonder if you’d want to be my wives as my Queens. Queens of the Human Race. Or have you already found soone else?"

"No, Your Highness... both my body and soul belong to no one but you," Shiru boldly declared without hesitation.

The Human King gently rubbed Shiru’s chin as he looked at the remaining three.

"I’m not even going to ask again... you are mine."

He wrapped his arms around all four of them and hugged them tightly.

"Do you have any objections?"

"No, Your Highness," all four of them replied, their cheeks bright red.

Inside, they were brimming with happiness.

It was understandable, after all, they had just beco the wives of the most powerful and most beautiful man in probably all of existence.

How could they not be happy?

The Human King chuckled at their reactions.

They weren’t even trying to hide it.

He released them from his grip, then pulled Shiru closer.

He leaned in toward her neck and bit her gently, sending goosebumps through her body.

She held her mouth, trying to suppress a moan as Damian drank her blood and injected the essence of the Werewolf race into her.

Letting her go, he did the sa with Maria, Ana, and Yuki, biting them one by one.

While he drank their blood, he also injected the essence of the Alpha Werewolf race into them.

As the essence mixed into their bodies, the four High Humans felt their senses and minds elevate.

Their physical bodies beca stronger, along with their life force.

"What’s happening..." the four won asked in shock, feeling the changes.

"I just gave you the traits of the Werewolf race... You’ll develop characteristics like a stronger life force, tougher physical body, animal-like instincts and senses, and with ti, you might even develop more traits," the Human King explained.

"Like the noble vampire traits Your Highness gave us last ti?" Maria asked.

"Yes, similar to that. Speaking of which... I see Yuki managed to awaken a new vampire trait besides regeneration and the ability to consu and be empowered by blood," the Human King noted.

As soon as he said that, a beaming smile appeared on Yuki’s face, while an annoyed expression appeared on the remaining three.

"Yes..." Yuki said, and in the next instant, a pair of bat-like wings sprouted from her back, each stretching about seven feet in both directions.

"Wings of a Vampire... interesting. When did they grow out?" the Human King asked.

"About two days ago, Your Highness. I woke up after a dream, and they just... spurted out of nowhere," Yuki replied, clearly excited about having wings and the ability to fly.

"Interesting," the Human King muttered, continuing to observe Yuki with his special eyes, analyzing how the essence of the Werewolf and Vampire races was affecting her as a High Human.

"Your Highness, why didn’t we grow wings like her?" Ana asked, clearly jealous.

"Oh, you will in ti. The essence of vampires affects each of you in different ways. In Yuki’s case, it gave her wings, but it likely reduced the effectiveness of other traits."

"Does that an we won’t awaken wings like hers?" Maria asked.

"No, it ans it will take ti for other traits to manifest. Think of the essence as a muscle; it grows stronger and develops with training and ti."

"Yuki grew wings at the cost of reduced regeneration, while you three have more effective regeneration but haven’t grown wings yet. It’s all about balance. So don’t worry. Over ti, the vampire and werewolf essences will begin to manifest in many different ways. Who knows, you might even be able to transform into wolves," he added with a smile.
