Chapter 220: Chapter 220: The Embodint Of Negativity – 1
“I wanted to ask… he’s about to beco the Demon Progenitor, right? Would he also take so demon won as wives?” Maria asked, crossing her arms.
“Why? Feeling jealous again? Are you turning into a yandere or sothing?” Alia asked, chuckling.
“No, I just asked because I wanted to know… I understand why he needs more won, I’m just curious how he chooses them,” Maria replied.
“He doesn’t choose them, he lets his karma and instincts decide… I know it’s hard to understand. Even we don’t fully know why he feels such a strong attraction to certain won. The most plausible theory is that it’s related to his future self. But we don’t need to worry about that right now,” Lenora said in an assured tone.
“As for your question… there is a woman in Biblical Hell who he might take as a wife.”
“Oh, you an that woman?” Alia asked, rolling her eyes.
“She did proclaim her servitude to our husband. You shouldn’t be surprised,” Lenora shrugged.
“I’m just irritated. That woman is a cunning seductress. She’ll keep our husband to herself if we’re not careful,” Alia said, folding her arms.
“Are there other won, besides you three, who had a relationship with our king in his last life?” Kathryne asked, narrowing her eyes.
“Well, including the woman he’s about to marry in Biblical Hell, there are two more won in the Upper Plane who had the potential to beco his wives. But before it could reach that point, darling had to regress,” Lenora explained as they returned to watching the system prompt.
There were nine layers of Hell.
The deeper one goes, the more destructive and chaotic it becos, and the higher the concentration of Miasma.
Right now, Damian, in his High Demon form, was standing in the 1st layer of Biblical Hell, known as the Hell of Mindless.
1st Layer: Hell of the Mindless
This layer contains nothing but demonic animals, beasts, and monsters.
Just like any other world, Hell has its own unique species of beings that were born or evolved by adapting to its environnt.
The concentration of Miasma here is relatively low.
From the 2nd layer to the 8th layer are known as the Hells of Sin, each layer representing one of the Seven Deadly Sins.
2nd Layer: Hell of Sloth
3rd Layer: Hell of Gluttony
4th Layer: Hell of Lust
5th Layer: Hell of Greed
6th Layer: Hell of Envy
7th Layer: Hell of Wrath
8th Layer: Hell of Pride
Each of these layers has a high concentration of Miasma.
This is where the souls of the damned are sent, based on their cris and sins.
These seven layers are ruled by the 72 Demons, also known as the 72 Pillars of Hell.
Each demon possesses a territory within these layers where they rule from.
9th Layer: Hell of Judgnt
The final and largest layer, the 9th Layer, is the Hell of Judgnt.
The concentration of Miasma here is the highest—so intense that even so demons feel pain upon entering its lands.
This is where the King of Biblical Hell resides, ruling alongside his most powerful subordinates: the Seven Original Sins, the Four Horsen of the Apocalypse, and the rest of the ancient, powerful Archdemons.
Damian could feel the trembling presence of thousands upon thousands of demonic beasts hiding within the hellish landscape.
But none dared to attack, instinct alone told them they would be the prey.
“Well, how about I finish this in one hell of a swoop,” Damian muttered, as a system prompt appeared in front of his eyes.
[War Function Has Been Triggered]
“Let’s see… I guess I should kill them all at once, huh? Save ti.” Damian rubbed his chin as he pondered.
After a few seconds of ssing around, Damian made one final click.
In the next instant, a series of notifications appeared in front of every single High Demon and Dark Angel in Biblical Hell:
[Damian Ignatius, wielder of the Crown of the 63rd Pillar of Hell, has declared war against all the Pillars of Hell]
[Damian Ignatius, wielder of the Crown of the 63rd Pillar of Hell, has declared war against the Seven Deadly Sins]
[Damian Ignatius, wielder of the Crown of the 63rd Pillar of Hell, has declared war against the Four Horsen of the Apocalypse]
That’s right.
Damian had just declared war against the 72 Pillars of Hell, the Seven Original Sins, and the Four Horsen of the Apocalypse, all at the sa ti.
These are the most powerful Archdemons in all of Hell.
They are as strong as gods, so say even stronger, especially the Seven Sins and the Four Horsen.
As soon as the war was declared, silence fell, a tense, suffocating stillness. But Damian knew it was just the calm before the storm.
In the next mont, thousands upon thousands of powerful presences began surging toward him from every direction.
“Well, ti to increase my power,” he said, as his demonic body started to emit a dark amber aura. Energy radiated from him as his eyes glowed with fierce amber light.
“This is the most ideal place to use that ability.”
When he rged two energies, [Miasma] and [Dark Essence], it resulted in a new energy known as [Negativity Essence], an energy that embodied all things negative.
It was a direct representation of the concept of Negativity, one of the fundantal regulators of existence in the universe.
Upon creating the [Negativity Essence], he developed a new constitution: [The Emissary of Negativity], which granted him two abilities, [Negativity Sense] and [Harvest of Negativity].
[Negativity Sense] was straightforward: it granted the ability to sense all forms of negativity, sins, dark emotions, impure intentions, and any form of malevolence.
But it was the [Harvest of Negativity] that Damian was about to use now.
—–
[Developed Ability: Harvest of Negativity]
[Effect: Grants the user the ability to generate [Negativity Essence] from evil, sinful, or negative emotions, states, and intents present in the surroundings, atmosphere, or within anything.]
—–
“Let’s jump through ranks,” Damian muttered as the [Negativity Essence] surrounding his figure surged rapidly with the activation of the ability.
[Harvest of Negativity: Developed Ability Activated]
As the na suggests, [Harvest of Negativity] draws in all the surrounding negativity, and what better place to use it than Hell itself, a realm overflowing with sin, evil, and the damned emotions of tortured souls?
Damian in Hell was like a predator in his hunting ground, unstoppable.
And yet, the demons dared to show up for war.
They couldn’t be blad. None of them could have foreseen that Damian would possess such an ability, nor that he alone had access to the [Negativity Essence].
Now, in his full might as a High Demon, Damian raised his crimson eyes and looked up at the red and black sky of Hell.
Thousands upon thousands of high demons hovered in the air, their demonic wings unfurled.
So had more than one pair of eyes, others had multiple tongues or heads, so had more than two sets of limbs.
There were incubi, imps, djinn, and demons of all forms, n, won, both, or neither.
But they all shared one thing in common: they ca thirsting for demon blood.
And yet, they could not move.
It was as if sothing bound them in place, chains forged from the strongest tal Hell had to offer.
Even the most powerful among them, the 72 Pillars, the Seven Demons of the Deadly Sins, the Four Horsen of the Apocalypse, and even the Demon King, Lucifer Morningstar, stood still, a complex expression on Lucifer’s face as he gazed at the being cloaked in an amber-black aura, an unknown energy swirling toward him like moths drawn to fla.
“This bastard… who the heaven does he think he is?” muttered the Original Sin of Pride, his face twisting in rage.
“I want to torture him alive in the Hellfire Pits,” hissed the Horseman of Pestilence, grinding his skeletal fingers.
“Go ahead then… take as many demons as you want to try and take him down,” Lucifer said. It wasn’t an order, just a statent, delivered without emotion.
There was a reason Lucifer’s words held no intent: he had already pledged his servitude to Damian.
He still spoke those words only because his master had given him a single command: when war is declared, do not interfere, let the demons die if they must.
Demons are creatures of chaos. Sadistic, freedom-obsessed, and impulsive, they would never notice the lack of intent.
As long as the Demon King spoke, they would act.
As soon as Lucifer gave the statent, hundreds of demons rushed toward the lone figure sitting cross-legged, surrounded by a dark amber energy, familiar, yet terrifying in its intensity.
But the charging demons were in no state of mind to comprehend the catastrophe they were running into.
Damian, of course, knew everything happening around him.
He could sense every demon, every foul thought, every drop of bloodlust in the atmosphere.
But he didn’t care.
It had been a long ti since demons posed a threat to him.
He ca to Hell for three reasons.
First, to beco the Progenitor of Demons and conquer Hell.
Second, to officially beco unbeatable on the lower plane.
And third, to reunite with the woman who had been waiting for his return.
Slaughtering the demons was just a stepping stone toward becoming the Progenitor of Demons.
But he wouldn’t kill them, not yet.
He needed their essence.
Their souls.
And above all, he needed to accumulate an enormous amount of energy.
When he has everything he needs.
When the ti was right, he would beco what he ca here to be.
And so Damian sat, invoking his [Harvest of Negativity].
All he needed was to absorb energy and grow stronger.
Unaware of the fate that awaited them, the thousands of archdemons, cloaked in thick Miasma and driven by impure intentions, charged toward Damian,
And into the abyss of their own destruction.
