For Lyvana, this mont would always be one of her most special mories. This was the exact mont they truly beca a family.

....

Imdiately after Lyvana gave birth, Lily posted a brief update online confirming a safe and healthy delivery.

However, she carefully kept the finer details under wraps, never ntioning how many babies had been born or their genders.

For months, the public remained completely in the dark. The dia only finally discovered that Lyvana had given birth to twins when her exclusive interview with VOGUE was released.

The revelation caught everyone entirely off guard. The public and the press were absolutely shocked.

Susan nearly had a heart attack when she heard. As for Mark, when he saw the news on the small television screen in the prison common room, his jaw dropped.

The inmate sitting next to him pointed at the screen and muttered sothing. But Mark couldn’t even hear him. He simply stared at the screen in total shock. There was Lyvana, looking beautiful and glowing, holding two beautiful babies. Twins.

A boy and a girl: Brian and Brianna.

And sitting right next to her, looking proud and powerful, was Julian.

Mark’s heart sank like a stone. He felt a sudden, sharp pain of regret in his chest. Those twins should have been his. That happy life should have been his. But instead, he was sitting in a cold prison cell in an orange jumpsuit, while Lyvana was living like a queen with a billionaire.

Catalina thought the sa thing. She believed she was the one who deserved to have those twin babies with Julian. In the end, the jealousy consud her. She completely lost her mind and ended up locked away in a ntal hospital.

Now, her days were empty and quiet. Her mind was broken. Every single day, her mother ca to visit her, sitting by her side in the cold hospital room and holding her hand. It was a sad, lonely life for a woman who once thought she had to have everything.

....

Four years later... The twins had grown up beautifully.

Today at the Grant mansion...

The chairman sat on a tiny pink chair in the middle of the living room, looking nothing like the powerful businessman who commanded boardrooms and billion-dollar deals.

His gray hair was clipped back with glittery butterfly ribbons. One side of his face was covered in bright blue eyeshadow, while the other had several crooked streaks of pink blush.

"Hold still, Grandpa!" Brianna scolded seriously as she leaned closer with a makeup brush. "I’m not finished."

"I’ve been holding still for twenty minutes child," the chairman complained.

"Beauty takes ti."

The old man sighed dramatically.

anwhile, Brian was busy with an entirely different mission.

"No, no, no!" the little boy declared. "You need this too."

Before the chairman could protest, Brian draped a sparkly purple scarf around his neck and clipped a pair of oversized toy earrings onto his ears.

"There!" Brian announced proudly.

The chairman looked down at himself.

He was wearing a bright yellow feather boa, a purple scarf, two toy earrings, and a plastic princess crown.

"What exactly am I supposed to be?" he asked.

"A superhero princess pirate king," Brianna replied.

The chairman blinked. "...Of course."

Brian imdiately ran off, wearing one of Eleanor’s old sun hats, a toy cape, and rain boots that were two sizes too large.

"I’m a dragon hunter!" he shouted as he charged around the room.

Just then, the door opened.

Eleanor entered carrying a tray loaded with refreshnts.

She stopped when she saw her husband.

For a mont, she simply stared. The chairman stared back.

Then Eleanor calmly said, "I see you’ve been promoted."

"I had no say in this."

"Clearly."

She set the tray down on the coffee table.

"Who wants so?" she called. "I have lemonade and cookies."

"YAY!"

The twins imdiately abandoned their victim.

Brianna dropped her makeup brush, and Brian forgot all about dragon hunting.

Both children raced toward Eleanor at full speed.

" first!"

"No, !"

"Grandma, I want two cookies!"

"I want three!"

Eleanor laughed as she handed them each a cup of lemonade.

The chairman finally rose from the tiny chair with all the dignity a man wearing butterfly hair clips could manage.

That was the exact mont the front door opened and Julian walked inside.

"Mother, I..."

He stopped as his eyes landed on his father.

Julian slowly looked his father up and down. Then he looked at Eleanor.

Eleanor imdiately raised both hands. "I had nothing to do with this."

Julian turned back to his father.

The chairman straightened his shoulders.

"...Should I co back later?" Julian asked.

The chairman’s expression darkened.

"If you value your inheritance, you will forget what you’ve seen."

Julian’s lips twitched. "I’ll certainly try."

Brian suddenly pointed at Julian.

"Daddy!"

The little boy ran over and grabbed Julian’s hand.

"Daddy look, grandpa is a superhero princess pirate king!"

Brianna nodded enthusiastically. "And I made him beautiful," she added.

The chairman closed his eyes.

Julian looked at his father again, and lost his composure. He burst into laughter. Within seconds he was laughing so hard he had to lean against the wall.

The chairman glared at him angrily.

Eleanor covered her mouth, trying unsuccessfully to hide her own laughter.

The Chairman only shrugged.

That was when Lyvana entered. She took one look at what was happening, then calmly pulled out her phone.

The chairman’s eyes widened. "Lyvana, don’t you...."

Too late. A flash went off.

Click.

The photograph was taken. The chairman looked horrified.

"Delete it."

"It’s going to cost you," Lyvana said with a playful smile, sliding the phone safely into her pocket.

The Chairman groaned, running a hand over his face.

Around the room, everyone burst into laughter ince more.

Because every single person present knew exactly how this story would end.

In a few hours, or perhaps tomorrow at the latest, the chairman would quietly corner Lyvana and demand a copy of that photograph.

Not because he wanted the evidence destroyed. But because he wanted to keep it.

The truth was obvious to everyone.

The chairman was hopelessly devoted to his grandchildren.

Every weekday afternoon, despite having drivers, assistants, and an endless list of responsibilities, he personally picked them up from school.

The sight had beco so common that the teachers barely reacted anymore.

One of the most powerful n in the country would stand outside the school gates waiting for two excited children to co running toward him.

The mont they appeared, board etings, business deals, and phone calls ceased to exist.

For the rest of the afternoon, he belonged entirely to them.

Weekends weren’t much different.

Sotis the twins stayed at the Glowen mansion. Other tis they took over the Grant mansion.

Back ho, after the twins had gone to bed, Lyvana stood on the balcony overlooking the backyard. Clara was the only full-ti servant who stayed at the mansion. The rest of the Grant staff usually ca by just to clean, and there was a live-in chef who handled all of their als.

Both the chef and Clara lived in the outhouse, away from the main mansion, leaving the house completely quiet and private for the family.

"It’s beautiful, isn’t it?"

Julian’s voice ca from behind her. His arms slipped around her waist, drawing her gently against him.

Lyvana smiled and relaxed into his embrace. "It’s breathtaking."

For a while, neither spoke. They simply stood together, enjoying the cool night air.

Then Julian rested his chin lightly on her shoulder. He pressed a gentle kiss to her neck, sending a warm wave of pleasure straight through her body.

"You know," he murmured, nodding down toward the pool area, "that jacuzzi has been completely ignored lately."

Lyvana laughed softly. "Has it?"

"Tragic, really."

"How unfortunate."

He turned her to face him. "The twins are asleep," he said.

"They are."

"I feel like that’s a sign."

"A sign of what exactly?"

"A sign that my wife and I should go swimming."

She pretended to think about it, humming softly. Instead of answering, she slid her fingers into his hair, gently pulling his head down toward hers.

"Who knows," she whispered against his lips. "If you behave yourself, maybe I will swim naked for you again."

She brushed her tongue lightly over his lips, and Julian didn’t hesitate. He parted his lips and kissed her hungrily. No matter how much ti they spent together, he could never get enough of her.

Lyvana was happy, she loved being a mother and she had a wonderful family surrounding her.

She loved her husband. Her temporary boyfriend who had loved her across two lifetis. Looking at him now, she knew with absolute certainty that they would never be apart.
