The car rode away from the driveway. Kieran’s gaze flickered backwards and caught Yuki’s shrinking figure. "Who are you going to send after her?" He enquired.
Eloise, who was fixing her eyeliner, went pale at that question. A frown crossed her face. "Don’t tell you care." She snapped and Kieran’s face changed
His gaze drifted to Kaden who was focused on driving. His thoughts imdiately cut through their mind link.
"You can’t leave her there. Dad is still alpha," he stated. Kaden’s expression changed.
"I fucking know. I will send soone over." He replied through the mind link at the sa ti Eloise was chattering completely oblivious to their conversations
"Kieran do you plan on taking a class in the dical departnt?" She curiously asked. It was a simple question but he didn’t quite understand why he found it annoying
"I don’t know if I would have enough ti. I have a lot of things to help out in the pack." He replied leaving Eloise deflated..
Kieran’s thought once again drifted into Kaden’s mind. "Don’t you think it’s too much to leave her there? It was just a simple car ride," he ntioned wary of why he found the situation unsettling
Kaden’s grip tightened on the steering wheel. His thoughts were sharp. "You seem to be very concerned about her, Kieran. If I didn’t know better I would assu you are interested in her." Kaden retorted and Kieran imdiately froze his face, which turned into a scowl.
"You are just making up things. " Kieran argued imdiately. Eloise was still busy with her monologue ranting about her classes. .
"Am I?" Kaden questioned. "I find you weirdly concerned about her. " Kaden said and Kieran went silent with nothing to say.
Back at the Beta’s villa, Yuki was left in front of the driveway. The staff walked around her paying no mind. She was unfamiliar with the grounds and didn’t even know the way back to the pack house.
After what felt like forever to Yuki but was just an hour, long enough for the spring morning sun to burn her out. A slick car pulled over, and the window rolled down. Yuki imdiately recognised who it was. Maverick
"Get in. You will be late." He casually said. She didn’t complain and quickly got into the passenger’s seat.
She strapped the seat belt in and Maverick floored it. Her heart almost escaped her ribcage as he sped down the road like this was so fast and furious movie. Her stomach churned and the strong urge to throw up surged up.
Maverick barely paid any attention to her, and with her heart racing so fast, she barely felt awkward about the fact that Maverick was the guy she had confessed to earlier.
Her mind was secretly praying hoping to survive this car ride. The car continued driving down the road leaving the huge pack house territory to the main road and after half an hour they finally arrived on campus
The ride that normally took an hour few minutes Maverick finished in half the ti. Maverick took a sharp turn and finally parked. Yuki’s body felt like jelly as she unbuckled the seat belt then clamped her mouth barely holding it in
Maverick’s face turned ugly, and his hand quickly opened the door. Yuki doubled over and then sprinted to the closest bush to throw up her guts. It felt like her entire stomach was flipped over
She looked like a complete ss. After throwing up her gut, Yuki slowly stood up holding her stomach then instinctively glanced at where Maverick’s car was and as expected he was long gone
She felt like laughing, but her throat was hoarse. She still needed help with her transfer, she guessed she was going to handle that herself. "Do you need so water?" A soft voice asked from beside her. Startled, Yuki glanced over and t eyes with a tall figure.
Cinnamon hair and soft honey-brown eyes. He had a genuine smile on his face and for a mont she was blinded. She has always been a sucker for good looks
The guy arced his brow confused by her dumbfounded expression then repeated the question. "Do you need so water?" He pushed out the bottle. Yuki blinked then accepted the bottle.
"Thanks. " she blurted opening the sealed bottle to take a sip to rinse her mouth.
"You don’t look familiar. Are you new on campus although it’s weird changing universities a month away from exams? " he said with genuine curiosity.
"I am a transfer student from Xyrus University. Changed school because my family moved," she explained. The guy’s curiosity increased. Werewolves were loyal creatures it was weird changing packs unless in the cases of marriage or when a pack was taken over by another.
But he didn’t push. At first sight, he knew Yuki was new she had the type of face that was hard to miss in a crowd. "I am Xavier, welco to Dravenhall University. " he introduced.
Xavier and Yuki smiled at the na. "Miyuki or you can just call Yuki." She introduced.
Xavier nodded noting the na to morise. "Miyuki that’s unique," he muttered.
"Yeah ans beautiful snow." She replied then sothing crossed her mind. "If you don’t mind, I need help locating the administration building. "
"That’s nothing. " Xavier chid then pulled out a note. He quickly wrote down the directions and then handed them over to her. "This is the direction. I have to leave to catch up on my lectures."
Before she could say thanks Xavier was already. He was pretty fast. A rare smile appeared on Yuki’s lips. She guessed Dravenhall wasn’t going to be so bad.

The door to the secretary’s office was pushed open, and a blonde figure stepped out holding her new schedule. Thanks to Xavier’s instructions she was able to find the office but it took a while to complete the process combined with the fact that she was late because of those jerks.
Yuki noted the information for her next class she was already an hour late but had to move. It was a compulsory course on combat which she was taking with so seniors. It was strange for sothing focusing on dicine to take a combat class but who was she to complain
After getting lost twice and nearly collapsing on her feet Yuki finally located the training grounds. Her stomach lurched as she grabbed the handle too nervous to step in..
She wondered what type of person the lecturer was. The door creaked open, and a loud slam welcod her. She stood struck watching the gentle-looking boy she saw earlier take down a huge guy who was clearly a warrior tank.
Xavier’s lean figure stood over the man who was completely wrecked. He was dressed in a tank top, sweat drenched his clothes, his hair was dishevelled looking every bit the heart throb he was.
Yuki was completely astonished she didn’t notice the cold gaze that locked on her as soon as she stepped in until a cold voice froze over the room. "You are late and this isn’t your regular class you can waltz in whenever. " Yuki’s head snapped up to et a pair of cold sapphire eyes that instantly made her stomach drop.
"Actions have consequences." He drawled. Kaden stood with his arms crossed wearing a sweatshirt that perfectly hugged every sculptured muscle of his. His tattoo on his right arm peeked from the sleeves and honestly, despite that cold look and strong presence, he was more stunning than any guy in that room.
But right now that cold handso face stared at Yuki like he had murder in his eyes.
