Charlotte pulled her aside mysteriously.
She whispered, "Dr. Jackson gets off work at five, you might run into him. Don’t forget to invite him to the party, after all, it’s your twentieth birthday."
Mia Ginger looked at her, smiled, and said nothing.
She stepped out the door.
The two headed towards Cloudy Capital.
Aunt Lee was waiting at the door, and as soon as she got out of the car, she ca to greet her from afar, looking around with infinite regret, and led her straight to the room.
"I’m sorry."
Mia Ginger turned her head and glanced at her, speaking softly.
Aunt Lee almost shed tears of pity, she patted her hand on the back, and kindly said, "It’s not your fault, I’ve heard so of the family’s affairs, it’s been hard on you, child."
"Has Brother Jackson co back to live here?" Mia Ginger asked quietly, biting her lip.
"The third young master cos occasionally," Aunt Lee sighed, "He’s gotten used to being distant over the years, never showing happiness or anger on his face, no one can guess what he’s thinking."
Aunt Lee sowhat understood her thoughts and continued to explain, "It’s mainly because of his mother’s car accident back then. The mother and son went out driving for fun, and after the accident, the third young master seed to go mad, depressed for several years. The old master had no choice but to send him abroad, it’s not easy that he managed to get through it alone and even studied dicine..."
Mia Ginger knew about Koa Jackson’s mother passing away years ago, but it was the first ti she heard in such detail, she was stunned for a mont and remained silent.
"The third young master is quite good to you," Aunt Lee continued, "It’s rare to see him take care of soone like this. Although his way is a bit domineering, it’s out of good intentions."
Obviously, Aunt Lee still rembered the milk and stir-fried at incident.
Mia Ginger looked at her and smiled, speaking softly, "I understand that Brother Jackson is good to ."
Although she understood, she couldn’t bring herself to get close to him right now.
Her pride wouldn’t allow it.
"Well, that puts my mind at ease," Aunt Lee opened the door to her room, directly entering the wardrobe, "You young people should make your own decisions, hmm... look at this, these few pieces were all prepared according to your asurents."
Mia Ginger looked at the few dresses in the wardrobe, stunned for a mont.
In the wardrobe—
Five dresses hung neatly in a row, with various colors and styles, yet all exquisite and beautiful.
They were the kind of dresses that were clearly expensive at a glance.
Mia Ginger reached over.
She took out a black little dress from the end, the icy smooth hem brushed her hand like a stream, swirling into a few beautiful waves.
"Do you like it?" Aunt Lee probed with a glance at her.
Mia Ginger bit her lip, put the black dress back, and took out the second white dress.
Strapless style, decorated with three white silk flowers nestled together on one side of the chest, with bright pinkish little pearls as centers, exquisite and playful.
The only decoration on the entire dress were these three flowers.
Further down, the snug waistline design accentuated the flaring skirt, kneelength, simple and graceful.
Mia Ginger felt the top layer of white gauze, then noticed the satin lining underneath had silver patterns flowing subtly, elegant and refined, yet understated and calm.
Looking at it, she tightened her grip on the dress slightly.
Touched, and warm.
"Here are the shoes." Aunt Lee opened the cabinet door beside her, smiling as she said, "They were all prepared according to your shoe size. The third young master said you can’t wear high heels, so the highest here is only five centiters."
"Brother Jackson," Mia Ginger steadied herself and asked quietly, "Is he working overti today?"
"It seems he’s heading directly to the Ginger Family after work to give you..."
Before Aunt Lee finished speaking, Mia Ginger’s phone suddenly rang, interrupting her.
Mia Ginger put down the dress and took out her phone to take a look.
