Koa Jackson did not look at her.
Nor did he speak.
Yet, in the end, he slowly eased up on the acceleration.
An asphyxiating silence spread between the two, just looking at his expression, Mia Ginger didn’t dare to say a word.
She hardly recognized him.
The Koa Jackson in her impression, whether it was ten years ago or now, was elegant and refined like jade, reserved and noble, a person seemingly without joy or anger.
He was graceful in deanor, with an air of high nobility, extrely asured in dealing with people and situations.
Easily dissolving many awkward monts, when he wished, he could make everyone around him feel as if bathed in a spring breeze.
That’s how he was supposed to be.
Not like he is now.
With a sharp, severe look as if cut by a knife, acting without a word, strict and domineering, cold and rigid.
At tis like this, his anger left her helpless and fearful, a fear that far exceeded the occasional pressure brought by Louis Cox and far exceeded the oppression brought by the new tyrannical instructor.
She even found it a little hard to breathe.
Not knowing what to say, Mia Ginger stayed silent all along.
An hour later—
Koa Jackson parked the car at the entrance of Cloud Capital University.
"Get out." He said, expressionless.
"Brother Jackson." Mia Ginger’s heart skipped a beat, she glanced at him.
Koa Jackson turned his head slightly, a very slight, cold smile played on his lips as he fixed his eyes on her, "Do you smoke?"
"No... It’s not like that." Mia Ginger was stunned for a mont, biting her lip tightly.
Koa Jackson didn’t speak, still looking at her, it was unclear whether he believed her or not.
"Get out." After a short while, he withdrew his gaze and said lightly, "It’s very late, go back and rest early."
"Brother Jackson." Mia Ginger looked at him, almost bursting into tears, her voice unconsciously tinged with a trace of pleading.
"It’s better for girls not to go out at night, it’s unsafe." Koa Jackson held the steering wheel with one hand, without looking at her, he advised once more.
Mia Ginger was taken aback, all her words slowly swallowed back.

Mia Ginger lowered her head, unbuckled the safety belt, and got out of the car.
From the rearview mirror, Koa Jackson watched her.
She had gotten out of the car and retreated two steps to the side, lost in thought, without walking away.
Koa Jackson withdrew his gaze, stepped on the accelerator, and drove off.
Soon disappearing from Mia Ginger’s sight.
Biting her lip and looking in his departing direction, Mia Ginger froze for a while, an uncontrollable sob escaped from her throat, and large droplets of tears fell nevertheless.
It’s over.
She could feel that the little affection Koa Jackson had for her was gone in an instant.
How terrible.
How did this day turn out so terrible?
