Koa Jackson looked at him, not speaking.
Mia Ginger took a deep breath and simply continued, "I’ve always felt quite inferior in front of you. You’re excellent in every way, and I’m far inferior to you. When I first arrived at the Ginger Family and knew about the engagent, Dad said you were a postdoctoral fellow, very, very outstanding. Mom said I wasn’t good enough for you, and Zuri Ginger and Bob Ginger also said I wasn’t good enough for you."
"Actually," tears suddenly welled up in her eyes, "I really am not good enough for you."
Even though I’ve tried hard to beco better.
But it really is exhausting.
Too tiring, and then you feel that maybe giving up isn’t necessarily a failure.
"You always thought like that?" Koa Jackson suddenly asked, looking at her soft hair.
"Yes." Mia Ginger kept her head down, not looking at him, "Actually, I have to thank you because if not for you, maybe I’d be worse off than I am now. If it weren’t for you giving that one hundred dollars, telling not to steal, maybe I would have been caught by the shop owner and labeled a thief for life."
"One hundred dollars?" Koa Jackson furrowed his brows, very surprised.
Mia Ginger looked up at him for a mont, her lips pressed tightly, and after a pause, she smiled with relief, "Maybe you don’t rember."
To you, it was just a fleeting thought, but I’ve held onto it for ten years.
How ridiculous.

With that one sentence, he completely shattered Mia Ginger’s thoughts.
She lowered her head, took a heavy breath, her insides felt painful, and she whispered, "Actually, it doesn’t matter if you don’t rember. To you, it wasn’t a big deal."
But to , it was a big deal.
Mia Ginger slowly said, "Brother Jackson, let’s not et again in the future."
Koa Jackson didn’t say anything.
She was already feeling a bit short of breath.
Turning around, she lowered her head and started walking towards the school.
Koa Jackson subconsciously grabbed her wrist.
Mia Ginger tried to shake free but couldn’t, so she just stood there in silence.
Koa Jackson lowered his gaze to look at her and softly said, "Raise your head."
Mia Ginger silently shed tears,
Koa Jackson clasped her chin with his hand, exerting just enough force to make her raise her head, revealing her tear-streaked face to him.
Mia Ginger felt embarrassed, wanting to turn her head away and not look at him.
Unable to think, unable to breathe.
Her body felt numb, afraid to look at him, even more so to speak.
"Whether you’re good enough or not, it’s not up to you to say," he said, "It’s up to ."
"Koa... Brother Jackson."
Mia Ginger gripped his sleeve tightly with one hand.
It felt as if she was in a dream, floating high, as if she might fall the next mont.
Her nervously dazed appearance obviously pleased Koa Jackson, and with a long arm, he wrapped around her, directly lifting her under his arm and heading for the back seat of the car.
