The situation was getting worse—

Koa Jackson drove her all the way to the cetery.
They arrived at ten.
The sumr sun was bright and already burning with heat, warming their bodies.
Mia Ginger called to ask for directions and was led by Koa Jackson, holding hands.
From a distance, they saw Louis Cox and the others.
Louis Cox’s relationship with Zoey Leaf was quite normal, not particularly close, standing there absent-mindedly.
Soon he saw her.
The smile on his face suddenly stiffened.
His gaze shifted downward to Koa Jackson and Mia Ginger’s entwined fingers.
These two?
Already together?
He hadn’t heard a word from Mia Ginger!
Louis Cox took a deep breath, seeing the two approaching, and stared sharply at Mia Ginger, delaying any greeting.
"Sister Mia."
Little Patten was also visibly surprised and turned to see her, hesitantly calling out.
His expression grew tense, glancing at Louis Cox, who was grinding his teeth and at Koa Jackson, whose face was impassive, fearing a sudden altercation.
"Hmm." Mia Ginger first responded softly, raising her eyes to look towards Zoey Leaf’s father not far away, softly greeting him.
She stepped forward and placed a bouquet of bright red roses in front of the tombstone.
Zoey Leaf always had to balance work and study, using all her spare ti for jobs. Even if her academic achievents weren’t outstanding, she had no ti for romantic pursuits.
Reading a novel was a luxury.
Occasionally chatting with her, she would express longing for love.
The thing she ntioned most was the rose.
Her romantic fantasies were simple, just a bouquet of flowers.
Mia Ginger was lost in thought, gazing at the smiling face on the tombstone, lightly pursing her lips, and said with a smile, "I brought roses to see you."
Her voice fell, and she looked up at the sky.
The bright daylight was blinding, and in the distance, black birds fluttered and flew away.
So quickly gone.
Soon vanished from sight.
She looked up for a mont, then lowered her head, calming her emotions.
"It’s already like this," Zoey Leaf’s father suddenly spoke beside her, "Mia, don’t be too sad, life goes on as it should."
"Uncle Leaf, I understand." Mia Ginger’s voice was softly spoken.
Zoey Leaf’s father wasn’t much of a talker and fell silent after that.
Mia Ginger stood aside, watching Koa Jackson extend his hand to Louis Cox, saying apologetically, "Last ti, I misunderstood, and I’m sorry, please forgive ."
Louis Cox was glaring angrily, restraining his emotions.
He didn’t expect such a gesture, paused, and was slow to shake hands and reconcile.
Koa Jackson remained calm, his slender, attractive hand hanging in mid-air, not withdrawing or speaking.
Waiting, it seed.
Mia Ginger pressed her lips together in silence, feeling her words would be inappropriate.
She hesitated and said nothing.
After a mont, Louis Cox suddenly extended his hand and grasped Koa Jackson’s, raising his brow with a smile, "It’s fine. My nose isn’t broken either."
