"I suddenly don’t feel like going." Mia looked up at him with a smile, speaking softly, "There’s really nothing worth seeing. If it’s going to be demolished, then let it be. A place like this should have been torn down long ago; it’s a blight on the cityscape."
She shrugged, looking relaxed.
Koa Jackson, however, said nothing, staring steadily at her.
"Koa... brother." Mia always felt nervous being stared at by him in silence, calling out hesitantly.
Koa Jackson took her hand directly, smiling nonchalantly, "Let’s go then. After all, it’s the place where you grew up. Once it’s gone, there’ll be nothing left. If you want to look, let’s take a look."
Mia pressed her lips tightly, a bit stiff, and stayed silent.

All along the way, she kept cautiously observing Koa Jackson’s expression.

Mia sighed, following him without saying a word.

They were all young n in their twenties or thirties, wearing short sleeves in the sumr with sleeves rolled up to their shoulders, revealing fierce tattoos. They beat up the man who had been kicked to the ground and cursed unabashedly, spewing filthy language that was unbearable to hear.
Mia ca to her senses, her face turning red with embarrassnt.
This is the most chaotic village in Cloud Capital.
Civil order, moral decency, all dragged to the lowest standard here.
Even the strongest outsider can’t suppress the local toughs.
Fists decide strength, and the stronger one can boldly oppress another based on whims.
Such chaos, yet this is where she grew up.
She felt that everyone here represented her face and inexplicable pride.
Seeing this scene, Koa Jackson couldn’t help but furrow his brows, showing just how much disdain and contempt he felt for such a place.
Mia found it hard to breathe, closing her eyes in distress.
Koa didn’t notice her discomfort, lowering his gaze towards the distant fight without intervening; as he was about to turn and leave, he suddenly recognized the face of the man being beaten on the ground, his expression froze instantly.
He shouted sharply, "Stop!"
There were quite a few onlookers around, mostly keeping a distance.
His sudden shout naturally surprised them, one of the n at the outermost part of the fight turned around.
Big and brawny, muscles well-defined.
At one glance at him, he sneered, "Pretty boy wants to stick his nose into other’s business?"
