"We’re on break," Bob Ginger shrugged with a smile, running up to her, "I ca here specially to see you."
"This late?" Mia Ginger was obviously surprised.
"..." Bob Ginger pouted, looking at her and muttering, "It wasn’t this late when I ca. I’ve been waiting for you at the dorm entrance for two hours."
"At least you found the right place." Mia Ginger gave a slight smile.
"Of course, I’m not that dumb. Just ask the New dia Institute freshn dorm building!"
"You’ve seen , now head back."
"Huh?" Bob Ginger looked at her in astonishnt, complaining with a huff, "How can there be such a heartless sister like you in this world? Humph, clearly you don’t know it’s my birthday today, and here I am, your little birthday star, coming over to see you specially!"
"Your birthday?" Mia Ginger truly was unaware.
Seeing his pitiful glare at her, she softened a bit, "Sorry, didn’t prepare a gift for you."
"No gift is fine; I’m not blaming you." Bob Ginger smiled at her, moving closer, "I’ll just give you a gift instead."
With the statent, he produced a flat, rectangular box from behind like magic.
He opened it directly.
Using two fingers, he picked up a platinum chain from inside and dangled it before her eyes, looking at her expectantly, "Pretty, right? This is the sa necklace worn by my goddess. See the little apple below? It’s got a smiley face engraved on it, a happy nut."
"Your goddess?" Mia Ginger’s thoughts were clearly not on the sa wavelength as his.
The first person she thought of was Zuri Ginger.
"Yeah, my goddess. The number one beauty in dostic online gaming, ah, describing it won’t an much to you, but that’s not the focus. The main thing is the necklace. Do you like it?"
Mia Ginger reached out to touch the apple-shaped pendant and smiled, "I like it."
"I’m glad you like it. Co on, let put it on you." Bob Ginger directly placed the box in her hand and took the chain, moving behind her.
Bending down, he fastened the necklace around her neck.
He then moved back in front and looked her over from both sides, proudly saying, "So pretty! The salesgirl said I have a great eye!"
"Yeah, mainly the model’s pretty." Mia Ginger clicked her tongue twice and laughed.
Seeing her smile, Bob Ginger felt a bit overwheld with happiness.
On Mia Ginger’s birthday, their relationship was such that he naturally hadn’t given her a gift.
This necklace was bought with pocket money saved up over ti.
It was a considerable expense for him.
Looking at Mia Ginger’s genuine smile now, the sting of spending all that money faded away, and the wasted ti didn’t matter anymore. The ordeal and grievance of the wait evaporated.
He was truly happy.
Yet felt a bit shy about showing it, he looked at Mia Ginger and teasingly complained, "You sure have a face thicker than a fortress wall."
"Haha." Mia Ginger poked him with the box but didn’t go up, laughing as she said, "Let’s walk together. I’ll take you to the school entrance to catch a cab back."
"Taking the gift and shooing away, huh." Bob Ginger grumbled, "I haven’t eaten since noon. You’re trying to starve , you know."
"Haven’t eaten?" Mia Ginger was startled, pulling his arm to move outside, "Then hurry up, I’ll have a al with you."
"That’s better!"
Bob Ginger praised with a smile, casually draping an arm around her shoulder and walked out, feeling delighted.
He looked distinctly handso and had already gained the appeal to attract girls.
