Mia was incredibly surprised, even feeling so unexpected joy, and replied, "In an elective class."
"How have you been lately?" Dallas asked again.
"Not bad."
"Hmm, not bad? It seems like you’re not doing well, is sothing bothering you?"
Mia stared at the sentence blankly, pausing for a mont, then replied, "No."

Dallas, dressed in a sharp suit, sat upright in the passenger seat. Looking at these brief two words made his mood turn sour; he didn’t reply, put away his phone, and asked the middle-aged man driving beside him, "How is he?"
"Just out of the ergency room. Before going in, he was calling to see you, and now he’s finally got his wish." The man sighed, glancing at him.
Dallas sneered, leaning back into his seat.
With a sarcastic tone, the middle-aged man didn’t mind, and added, "What happened in the past is past. It’s been years, the Chairman hasn’t had it easy either; he’s been thinking about you and your mother all this ti, and didn’t let that woman into the house, did he? Now that his body is failing, he’s been longing to see you. When you et, at least give him a smile..."
Dallas turned his head to look out the window, completely ignoring the conversation.
The middle-aged man sighed helplessly, continuing his emotional persuasion, "The Chairman’s been keeping an eye on your achievents over the years, extrely proud, always saying you’re truly Jett Williams’ son.
