Aurora Cooper was also studying her.
The girl in front appeared to be around twenty years old, dressed in a light blue short down jacket and jeans, paired with slightly bulky snow boots, a hat, mask, gloves, the full set for keeping warm, covering herself tightly, revealing just a small, cute face.
Her willow leaf-shaped brows curved like a new moon, her bright, clear eyes showed a distinctly apologetic look, genuinely sincere.
She seed like a good kid.
Aurora recalled how she had leapt at her like a rabbit, and found it amusing.
She softly said, "I’m fine, don’t worry."
"Really? Are you sure?" Mia Ginger glanced at her feet, embarrassed, "I think I stepped on your foot just now, I’m really sorry."
The woman smiled gently.
The young woman who had been picking sothing up next to Aurora, wearing even higher heels, stood up, glanced at Mia Ginger, and supported Aurora, softly asking, "Is the director okay? How do you feel? Are you hurt anywhere?"
After speaking, she glanced again at Mia Ginger, slightly frowning.
"Amy," Aurora chided lightly.
Mia Ginger was stunned, realizing she had inadvertently bothered two people, feeling even more embarrassed.
Since they hadn’t spoken, she felt awkward leaving.
Hesitating briefly, she suggested, "Why don’t you try walking a couple of steps?"
"It’s not so easy to twist your ankle," Aurora reassured her with a gentle smile, increasingly liking her, then held Amy’s arm and took a few steps, comforting, "See, it’s fine. Don’t worry about it, it’s not your fault."
"Hmm." Mia Ginger smiled, gently rubbing her right ear.
The buzzing noise lingered, her ear felt a bit hot and uncomfortable.
Seeing the two people she bumped into were okay, she said, "I apologize. If everything is alright, then... I’ll be leaving."
"Hmm." Aurora nodded.
"Hmm." Amy beside her seed discontent.
Feeling guilty, Mia Ginger didn’t mind and smiled, turned around, and put on her mask to leave.
Unexpectedly—
She had just taken two steps when a voice suddenly called out, "Wait a mont."
She paused, turning her body to look back.
Aurora smiled and said, "On such a cold day, it’s quite a coincidence to run into each other. If you’re free, how about having a cup of coffee with ?"
"Eh?" Mia Ginger was a bit confused.
Aurora raised her eyes, pointed to the corner of the square across from them at the coffee house and said, "Over there, do you have ti?"
Mia Ginger followed her direction, her gaze landing on three large brown letters, "Old Tis."
After thinking for a mont, she nodded, "I should be the one inviting you."
Aurora smiled and said nothing.
She glanced at Amy, and the three headed together to the coffee house.
They picked a window seat to sit.
Mia Ginger felt warm, took off her hat and gloves, even removed her down jacket, placing them together on the sofa beside her.
"Two mochas, thanks." Amy said to the waiter as she sat down.
Mia Ginger thought for a mont and smiled, "I’ll have lemon black tea, please."
After speaking, she asked the two across from her, "Do you want anything to eat?"
"No, thank you." Aurora politely declined.
Mia Ginger nodded and told the waiter, "Just these, thank you."
"Alright, please wait a mont." The waiter responded and left.
Mia Ginger withdrew her gaze, looked at the two people across from her, not knowing what to say.
She was not soone who chatted easily, never having had the experience of having afternoon tea with strangers, especially these strangers were not of the sa age group.
