At this mont—
The light in the operating room went "pop" and turned off.
"Did they co out?" Aurora naturally saw it as well, quickly stood up and asked.
Bob followed her and stood up too.
Everyone crowded to the door of the operating room.
It was already nine o’clock in the evening.
A few minutes later, doctors and nurses ca out following an elderly professor who led the way.
"How is my daughter?"
"How is my sister?"
"How is the patient?"
Several people surrounded them anxiously, urgently asking questions.
"The surgery was very successful." Professor Quinn looked at Aiden right in front of him, hesitated for a mont, then smiled and said, "Don’t be too tense."
"Thank you." Several people sincerely spoke.
Professor Quinn smiled and nodded, then left first with two others.
Koa Jackson ca out afterward.
He glanced at Aiden standing on the side, halted, and greeted, "Uncle Ginger."
"How’s Mia’s condition?" Aiden directly asked.
"Observe for twenty-four hours first."
Aiden was taken aback, locked his gaze on him, and said nothing more.
Koa looked exhausted and said softly, "I’m very sorry."
He always felt the Ginger Family could not accommodate Mia.
But at this mont, facing Aiden, besides apologizing, he could not muster any other emotion.
Aiden also felt tired, waved his hand and said, "There’s no need to say more now. It’s Mia who’s been chasing after you, I knew all along. You can’t be blad for what happened, it’s not like you asked her to co find you."
Koa looked at him, said nothing.
The others looked at Aiden, naturally, no one else spoke.
Koa pondered slightly, nodded, and said, "The hospitalization is arranged, I’ll go back to the office first and co over later."
"Don’t co." Aurora suddenly spoke, "I don’t think you should see her anymore."
Koa was taken aback by her words.
Aiden looked at his expression, it was obvious, he still didn’t know that Aurora was Mia’s biological mother.
He was thinking of how to explain when Bob ca over, pulled Koa’s wrist, and said sideways, "Brother Jackson, Chairman Cooper is my sister’s biological mother."
"..." Koa looked shocked, "What?"
"It’s a long story anyway." Bob stamred, "You were in the earthquake area, maybe my sister didn’t tell you. Aunt Cooper was also angry because of the news about you and that female doctor, don’t take it to heart."
"What news?"
Bob looked at him, puzzled, "You don’t know?"
Koa remained silent.
Bob furrowed his brows, extrely conflicted, not knowing how to speak.
Koa ca to his senses, patted his shoulder, "It’s okay, don’t bother if it’s hard to say. I’ll head to the office first."
"Okay." Bob breathed a sigh of relief.
Koa greeted Aiden and stepped away.
He walked all the way to the office.
Professor Quinn was already gone, but the lights inside were still on.
He pushed open the door and imdiately saw Lia sitting in a chair, lost in thought.
"Koa."
Lia saw him and quickly stood up.
Koa halted, ignored her, and went to the side to gather his things.
Lia was stunned, took a couple of steps forward to him, bit her lip, and softly explained, "I’m sorry, I really didn’t expect Mia to suddenly co in."
Koa still ignored her.
