Louis Cox lowered his eyes to think, pulled out a pack of cigarettes, took one and handed it to him, flicked the lighter, and personally lit it for him.
His mood was sowhat complicated, so he simply turned his head to look elsewhere.
Two heavy coughs sounded beside him.
He was stunned and couldn’t help but frown, saying, "If you can’t handle it, don’t smoke. My cigarettes are strong; most people aren’t used to them."
Koa Jackson said nothing and stopped coughing, finishing the entire cigarette with his head down.
Louis Cox looked at him, feeling irritated again, and suddenly stood up, saying, "I’ve got a pile of things to do, I’m leaving first."
"Okay."
"Little Patten." Louis called Little Patten, who was playing with his phone on a distant chair, and turned to leave.
The cold air rushed into his lungs, Koa Jackson coughed heavily twice again.
He got up and headed upstairs.
After walking a few steps, he saw Dallas Taylor striding down from afar.
Dallas Taylor had been in the ward for nearly two hours.

The chill on Koa Jackson’s face deepened.

Dallas also laughed, looked at him, scrutinized him for a while, said nothing, and left with a cold face.
This man, Koa Jackson, was about as he had expected.
Indifferent and frosty.
It’s just as well that Mia Ginger has forgotten him.

Dallas Taylor left the hospital.
Thinking about the things he had just said to Aurora Cooper, he drove toward Cloud Capital University.
He had just taken charge of the Williams Family and indeed needed a marriage.

Dallas drove, frowning slightly, thinking all the way.
When he was near Cloud Capital University, he asked Victor Williams for Windsor Myres’s phone number.
He called her to et at the campus gate.
Not long after—
He drove to the campus gate and saw Windsor Myres standing by the roadside waiting from afar.
Windsor Myres opened the car door and sat in the passenger seat.
She directly asked, "How is Mia Ginger?"
School had been open for ten days, and Mia Ginger hadn’t shown up. She naturally knew about the accident and had visited the hospital with Camden River a few days ago, but Mia hadn’t woken up.
