"Brother Sutton, did you know Dr. Jackson before?" Mia Ginger asked.
Thinking about it, Mason Sutton was her dad’s assistant, and Koa Jackson was her boyfriend, so even if they weren’t close, they might know a little about each other, right?
She looked at Mason Sutton expectantly.
Mason Sutton smiled slightly, "We’ve t, but we’re not really familiar. Why ask?"
"What kind of person do you think Dr. Jackson is?"
"Ha." Mason Sutton chuckled mildly and thought for a mont before saying, "Well, he’s quite a calm and composed person."
"That’s it?" Mia Ginger was dissatisfied.
"I told you, I’m not really familiar with him." Mason Sutton shrugged and probed, "Why, is there sothing you want to say?"
"Nothing." Mia Ginger sighed, "I just think he’s so annoying."
"Annoying?" Mason Sutton was taken aback.
"Yeah, annoying!" Mia Ginger said through clenched teeth. "I’ve never t anyone as annoying as him. Sotis he’s so gentle and patient, but other tis he seems so indifferent, hot and cold. And no matter what you say, he never gets angry. Even when he seems angry, he doesn’t show it and looks as if nothing is wrong. Isn’t that annoying?"
"Hmm." Mason Sutton reflected, "Listening to you... that does sound quite annoying."
Mia Ginger: "!"
Why didn’t Brother Sutton refute her?

"Peace." Mason Sutton smiled.
"Peace? The place that just had an earthquake?"
"Yes." Mason Sutton nodded, "I’ve been transferred, and so has your dad. We’re heading there together, leaving the day after tomorrow."
"Oh."
Mia Ginger had heard Aurora Cooper ntion it before and, after a mont of surprise, understood.
She pursed her lips, looked at Mason Sutton, and said with a smile, "It’s not the sa as in Cloud Capital. Especially since there’s just been an earthquake there, you all need to be more careful."
"Just take care of yourself." Mason Sutton couldn’t help but laugh.
"Hehe, safe journey." Mia Ginger curved her lips.
Mason Sutton glanced at her, pressing his lips together, "Thank you."

Eight o’clock in the evening.
Mason Sutton and Aiden Jiang left the hospital together.
Aurora Cooper saw them off and returned to the ward, still looking a bit brooding.
"Mom." Mia Ginger called out to her.
Aurora Cooper looked up with a smile, sat next to her, and asked gently, "What’s wrong?"
Mia Ginger glanced at her for a long mont, bit her lip, "I want so water."
"I’ll get it for you." Aurora Cooper nodded and turned to pour so water.
Mia Ginger watched her busy figure, feeling a bit stifled. Ironically, the words that had been on the tip of her tongue, she didn’t want to ask anymore.
