Koa Jackson was taller than the bodyguards, his gaze sweeping the room as he said indifferently, "Move aside."
"Tsk, who are you, speaking so aggressively, I..."
"What about you?" Before he finished his sentence, soone suddenly approached, Caiden Ward ca closer,
"Young Master Ward?"
Caiden Ward was well-known in Cloud Capital, especially in this circle, practically everyone knew him.
Naturally, the bodyguards dared not offend him.
They called out in surprise and then shifted their gaze to Koa Jackson.
That’s when they realized sothing was amiss.
The man in front of them appeared indifferent and cold, although like all the other guests today, he wore a black suit, yet his deanor was truly extraordinary.

The bodyguard who had been blocking them wisely nodded and bowed as he said, "I’m sorry, I failed to recognize you."
With those words, he stepped aside with a smile, "Please go ahead."
Koa Jackson’s lips curved slightly as he carried Maeve and went straight in.
The three behind him followed closely.
Once they walked a few steps away, the bodyguard let out a sigh of relief and turned to another person nearby, "Quickly go and notify the madam, the little miss has arrived."
"Okay."
The man responded promptly and walked away briskly.

Mia Ginger and Koa Jackson entered along with the others, registered, and then headed straight to the hall where the morial was being held.
Inside and outside the hall, it was crowded with people.
Koa Jackson carrying Maeve naturally received plenty of attention.
Before entering the hall, a tall, thin woman in a deep black suit approached.
She looked to be in her fifties, her face covered in fine lines, filled with mournful dignity, surrounded by three or five people as she walked out. Seeing Maeve, she let out a long sigh of relief, choked out, "She’s finally here. Maeve, let the third brother carry you. Thank you."
The woman speaking was Cesar Myres’ first wife, Reagon Sutton, who still lived in the Myres Mansion even after their divorce for more than a decade.
The third brother she spoke of was Sunny Holland’s son, Kami Myres, who extended his hands warmly, saying, "Maeve dear, let your third brother carry you inside."
Maeve bit her lip and glanced at the two of them.
She decided not to be carried by Koa Jackson anymore, reaching out towards Mia Ginger and said, "Sister Mia."
Mia Ginger raised her hand to receive her, holding her in her arms and said calmly, "Maeve cannot be given to you, I promised soone to take good care of her."
"But she is ultimately a mber of the Myres family." Reagon Sutton’s lips curled into a cold, mocking smile, she glanced down at Maeve with the sa calm tone, "The Myres are not without people, how can the care for her be entrusted to outsiders?"
Mia Ginger pursed her lips and stayed silent.
Denver Petal on the side smiled and directly said, "If not to outsiders, should it be entrusted to her father’s ex-wife?"
"Denver Petal?" Reagon Sutton’s voice choked briefly.
"Pleased to et you." Denver Petal nodded and smiled slightly.
Reagon Sutton glanced at the people beside her and hesitated for a mont before saying to Mia Ginger and Koa Jackson, "Today there are many people around, so I’ll trouble you two to look after Maeve for a while. As for the subsequent matters, we’ll handle them after the funeral. What do you two think?"
Mia Ginger glanced at Koa Jackson.
Koa Jackson nodded, agreeing.
The purpose of their visit was mainly to wait for Louis Cox, not to cause disturbances that would unsettle the deceased.
Reagon Sutton nodded, "I’ll leave you for now."
