After a prolonged silence in the hall, the guests started buzzing with heated discussions.

Mia Ginger let out a long breath, standing on the stairs, she looked up at the sky.
The sky was gloomy, and a fine drizzle hung in the air.
When the wind blew, the chill penetrated the skin, making one feel cold.
"Why did you co out?" A familiar female voice suddenly ca from the side, as Windsor Myres looked at her and smiled, "You just left the hospital, and now you’re out here getting caught in the rain and wind, be careful not to get sick."
"Are you okay?" Mia Ginger asked, pressing her lips together.
"What could possibly be wrong with ?" Windsor Myres smiled, "Ivy Cox is a thorn in the eyes of Reagon Sutton and those won, not mine, hardly bothers . If you’re talking about the will or whatever, surprising as it is, it’s still acceptable."
"Don’t you resent... your father?"
"Resent him?" Windsor Myres laughed, "No need, he’s always been like that, pampering Ivy Cox isn’t new, I wouldn’t be surprised at anything he does for her."
"Do you think it’s love?" Mia Ginger paused, puzzled.
"If that’s not love, I don’t know what else could be called love in this world." Windsor Myres looked through the thin, dense rain at the distant, dark sky, seemingly lost in so long-forgotten mory, she smiled vaguely, "Ivy Cox ca in when I was about seven or eight years old, you know how she ca in? She was carried from outside Myres Mansion’s gate all the way into the bedroom by Cesar Myres. Not Cesar and Reagon Sutton’s bedroom, nor any other woman’s room ever, but the one room in Myres Mansion that no one but Uncle Murphy could enter. It was so private that even the room’s cleaning was done ticulously by Cesar Myres himself. Others only knew Cesar Myres had lots of won, but no one ever knew that before Ivy Cox, no one was allowed the privilege of staying overnight with him. Myres Family resembled an ancient palace, Cesar Myres was the emperor, and no one was allowed to stay by his side because he wasn’t at ease. Ivy Cox was an exception, whether he trusted her or not, the act of doing so was tantamount to entrusting her with his life."
Mia Ginger gave her a surprised look, unsure what to say for a mont.
Windsor Myres smiled, leaning back against the wall with one hand, raised an eyebrow at Mia Ginger, and suddenly said, "Guess how long they stayed in there?"
"A day and a night?" Mia Ginger guessed tentatively.
"No." Windsor Myres looked at her steadily, "Five days and nights."
Mia Ginger: "..."
"Can you imagine?" Windsor Myres sneered, "A man who swaps won more frequently than clothes, actually had such a day."
Mia Ginger contemplated, "At the ti Cesar Myres and Reagon Sutton weren’t divorced yet, right?"
"Not divorced." Windsor Myres said flatly.
Mia Ginger found it incredible and chose not to comnt further.
