Koa Jackson smiled but said nothing.
Aurora Cooper looked up at Mia Ginger again and asked, "Mia, what do you think?"
"I..." Mia was montarily stunned and answered honestly, "Mom, I’m a bit confused right now. Let think about it."
"Hmm, this is not urgent." Aurora nodded in understanding, "You can think about it for a few days, and talk about it after this week, once you’re back at school. I’m just giving you a suggestion. If you think it’s feasible, then you need to focus on your studies for the next three months and make an effort. As for English, you don’t need to worry, Margot and I can help you practice at ho. Mainly..."
Aurora sighed, "I’m just afraid your health won’t hold up."
Mia smiled and said, "I’m feeling much better now. Don’t worry about my studies. Whether or not I can study abroad, I won’t slack off."
"That’s good." Aurora nodded.
Mia smiled at her and glanced at Koa Jackson.
Koa Jackson checked the ti on his wrist and got up with a gentle smile, "I have sothing to do back ho, so I won’t stay long..."
"You’re going ho?" Mia asked, pouting.
"Yes." Koa Jackson ruffled her hair, "It’s getting late."
"It’s only four o’clock."
Koa Jackson chuckled warmly and said, "You can co with and then return later."
"Oh, right." Mia tapped her head, "I’m such a fool, your house is nearby, let’s go to your place."
Since she was discharged from the hospital, she had visited Koa Jackson’s place once, but it didn’t trigger any mories.
The period before the car accident seed nonexistent, completely erased and sealed in the back of her mind.
Koa Jackson felt a bit helpless and conflicted; he truly liked the current Mia Ginger. It seed that even the smallest gesture from her could stir his emotions and affect his mood. Yet, occasionally he missed the old Mia Ginger, and those mories pained him whenever they surfaced.
The little girl who had so cautiously loved and protected him, perhaps she still hadn’t forgiven him, which was why she refused to rember.
Koa Jackson sighed lightly, bid farewell to Aurora, and left with Mia and the Chancellor.
Aurora saw them off to the lobby.
She then turned back inside.
She sat on the sofa for a little while and then picked up her phone to call Aiden Jiang.
Aiden quickly answered, seeming in a good mood, and asked with a smile, "What’s up? Is sothing wrong?"
"Hmm," Aurora said softly, "I told Mia about applying for the exchange program today. Dr. Jackson was there too."
"What did they say?"
"Mia said she’s a bit confused and needs a few days to think it over. Dr. Jackson only expressed understanding of our intentions, without giving an opinion."
"Is that so?" Aiden responded.
"Hmm." Aurora asked him, "What do you think their attitude ans?"
Aiden smiled, "If that’s the case, you don’t need to worry. Going abroad as an exchange student is a good opportunity; Koa will understand that. Mia may be deeply in love with Koa, but she also has a competitive side to her, and with a few days to think, she’ll make her choice."
"Are you sure?" Aurora asked, doubtful.
"Yes." Aiden replied simply.
Aurora relaxed and breathed a sigh of relief, "That’s good."
There was a brief pause on Aiden’s end before he asked lightly, "How have you been lately?"
"Everything’s fine." Aurora leaned back against the sofa, lazily, "The company doesn’t need much, so I’m at ho keeping Mia company. Missing out on twenty years, it feels like no amount of ti with her is enough. Speaking of which, that girl has noticeably gained so weight recently, there’s so flesh on her face now, making her a bit cuter..."
