Mia Ginger hadn’t finished speaking when Koa Jackson directly pulled the quilt over himself, lay down, wrapped his long arm around her, and, raising an eyebrow with a smile, said, "Alright."

"Your hand, please." Koa chuckled happily and continued.
Mia lay on his chest, pouted, and reluctantly stretched out her hand.
Koa lowered his eyes to glance at her, "Left hand."
Mia paused, then quickly switched to giving him her left hand.
Koa gently held her slender ring finger and slowly slid the diamond ring he was holding onto it, securing her finger.
The room’s lights weren’t turned on, making it slightly dark.
But, at so point, the gloomy sky outside started to brighten as the rain stopped, letting in a bit of light.
The light slanted in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, brightening the room with a soft glow.
Koa held Mia’s hand while Mia’s chin rested on his chest, her bright black eyes wide open, gazing steadily at him.

"How co you always have a ready diamond ring?!" After a while, Mia asked curiously.
"Well," Koa whispered, "I prepared it the first day you moved in."
She was appointed as his wife by the old man; she was also the girl he liked upon first eting in his childhood. With all their circling around, everything seed destined. Mistaken identity didn’t matter, whether she was Charlotte Chester’s daughter or not didn’t matter; ultimately, she was the girl destined to be engaged to him from birth.

Koa tightened his arm, sighed, and held her closer.
Mia happily looked at the ring on her hand and, after so ti, suddenly said, "Does this count as a private engagent?"
"Mm, not quite yet." Koa smiled lightly.
"Then..."
"Tomorrow afternoon then." Koa looked at her and asked, "Is the household registration book with you?"
"Mm."
"Bring it tomorrow. Let’s go get the marriage certificate first."
"Getting the certificate?" Mia was taken aback.
"Why?" Koa furrowed his brows slightly, "You’re not willing?"
Mia looked at him, her mind fluttering, then suddenly turned the subject around, "Hmm, not willing. I need to give it so thought; getting a certificate is serious."
She was utterly annoyed with Koa Jackson.
Getting a marriage certificate, such a big deal.
She couldn’t just simply agree to him so easily. Last ti, he deliberately forced her to get a certificate with Dallas Taylor.
