Mia Ginger's body stiffened, tears streaming down from her eyes freely.
Why?
Why does she always let him see her in such a miserable state?
Why does she always let him see her subjected to such humiliation?
Why does she always let him see her bristling with hostility, so aggressively?
"Let go of , Brother Jackson, let go." Mia Ginger gasped, her voice choking, as if she could suffocate in the next second.
Koa Jackson looked down at her, finally releasing his grip.
Mia Ginger stubbornly opened the computer bag, took out the laptop, and threw the empty bag into Zuri Ginger's arms, shouting sternly, "Find it, get the Jade Bracelet out to show everyone."
"I didn't say anything!" Zuri Ginger also felt wronged, she directly put the bag back, looking pitiful, lowered her head, her voice choked.
Mia Ginger stood where she was, breathing rapidly.
Koa Jackson bent down, took her bag, and packed the items on the table one by one, like a slow-motion scene in a movie.
Gradually, it smoothed out Mia Ginger's anger.
Her clenched fist slowly relaxed, her slender fair fingers were red at the knuckles from exertion, burning with a stinging pain.
Mia Ginger turned her head to et Alia Miller's gaze.
"Alia." A word slipped from her lips, cold and piercing.
"I," Alia Miller glanced timidly at Charlotte Chester, lost and confused, "I didn't say Second Miss is a thief, I just saw her go into the master bedroom, really."
"But mom's Jade Bracelet is missing," Mia Ginger sneered, "You're so nervous, randomly accusing , just to divert everyone's attention, right?"
Alia Miller bit her lip tightly, unable to speak.
Confused.
She clearly put the bracelet inside, how could it be gone?
Mia Ginger's intense reaction made her fearful, not daring to speak further.
"And, you've been watching ever since I went to Brother Jackson's, the first ti you called Zuri Ginger, I caught you in the act, have you forgotten?" she leaned in slightly, using a low voice that everyone could hear, saying, "I said before, I don't like forcing people, if you don't want to talk, I won't compel you, but that doesn't an I don't have boundaries, letting a servant like you push around."
"I didn't tell her to..." Zuri Ginger's face changed, hastily explaining.
"Not talking to you." Mia Ginger still stared at Alia Miller, "I've always been wary of you, how could I let you hear on the phone? My mom is seriously ill? Needs hundreds of thousands? I wouldn't say those things over the phone! Where did you hear it? Who told you?"
"I... I..." Alia Miller stuttered, unable to speak.
"Where's the bracelet?" Mia Ginger's tone shifted sharply, her gaze sharp as a knife, "Mom's Jade Bracelet is missing, where did it go, speak."
"It wasn't ." Alia Miller dropped to her knees with a thud, tears of grievance spilling, "I really don't know, I didn't take the bracelet, and I didn't say Second Miss is a thief, I just saw her leave the master bedroom in the afternoon."
"I didn't go to the master bedroom." Mia Ginger turned to look at Aiden Jiang, "Dad, why is she so insistent that I went into the master bedroom, isn't it just to say I took the bracelet? Where did the bracelet go? A thorough search is needed!"
Both inside and outside were embarrassed, Aiden Jiang's expression was gloomy, unable to speak.
"Maybe Alia saw it wrong," Zuri Ginger forced a smile, turning to Charlotte Chester, "After all, they've already checked Mia's bag, should they check Alia's bag too, and clear her na if nothing's found."
"Check, go on." Charlotte Chester's head was overwheld, she waved her hand.
Alia Miller felt as if given pardon, hurriedly grabbed her bag to open the zipper, extending her hand, suddenly sensing sothing was wrong, she looked up at Mia Ginger.
Mia Ginger's expression was mocking.
The hand Alia Miller had on the bag wouldn't budge.
