Caiden Ward seed to understand her confusion, but he didn’t explain more and just pinched Maeve’s chubby little face.
Maeve, however, understood Mia Ginger’s words, squird a bit in his arms, and requested, "Uncle Ward, put down, I can walk by myself."
"Not tired?" Caiden Ward asked her.
"Not tired, I’ve gained weight these days, need to lose weight." Maeve stared at him earnestly, with an air of seriousness.
Caiden Ward chuckled, leaned over, and put her down on the ground.
Maeve’s chubby little hand was grasped by his, and she looked quite excited. She grabbed Mia Ginger’s hand with the other, hopping forward while humming a nursery rhy taught by her kindergarten teacher.
Soon, the group arrived at the largest private room.
Inside the room, there was just one round table, very high-end, capable of seating thirty people without a problem.

When Mia Ginger looked at Koa Jackson with her eyes curved, she paused for a mont.
Koa Jackson’s expression didn’t look too good.
Not only him, but other mbers of the Jackson Family also had peculiar expressions, especially Old Master Jackson, whose face was as still as water.
Mia Ginger glanced at Aurora Cooper.
Aurora Cooper and Aiden Jiang also seed to feel it, exchanging glances.
Bradley Cooper, who ca in afterward, was pulled aside by Elise Sutton right at the doorway.
"What happened?" At Bradley Cooper’s age, it was rare for him to be treated so rudely, so he asked after just a few steps.
"Sothing’s happened." Elise Sutton straightened her body, glanced around to ensure no one was nearby, and motioned Bradley Cooper to lower his head, then whispered in his ear.
"Really?" Bradley Cooper was still a bit incredulous.

This Elise Sutton shouldn’t have any ties with the Jackson Family, but she seed quite familiar with their family matters.
"Nothing, just speaking off the cuff." Elise Sutton shook her head with a smile, clearly not intending to say more.
"Alright, got it." Bradley Cooper nodded, "I’ll head in first."
Elise Sutton smiled and nodded.
When Bradley Cooper went back in, the atmosphere in the private room had already livened up, as if the awkward mont he saw when entering was just an illusion.
He stepped forward and sat down next to Old Madam Cooper.
As soon as he sat down, he heard Old Master Jackson cheerfully say, "Daniella, let Girl Mia sit next to ."
Of course, Butler Jackson wasn’t present at the family feast, so Daniella Jackson sat next to him to assist.
Upon hearing his command, she naturally stood up and moved a seat over, motioning to Mia Ginger, "The old master is calling you, co over and sit here."
Mia Ginger hesitated for a mont, watching as Daniella Jackson switched seats with Koa Jackson, and then sat over.
Right next to the old master.
On the old master’s other side were Old Master Ward and the two elders from the Cooper Family, followed by the younger generation.
She felt a bit uneasy, glancing up at Koa Jackson beside her.
Koa Jackson twitched his lips, giving her a faint smile, as if comforting her with his gaze.
Mia Ginger still felt sothing was off.
She was sensitive by nature and could quickly pick up on the emotions of those around her, especially that she had gotten to know Koa Jackson quite well by now. Even though he always wore a calm expression, she could tell that he sohow didn’t seem very happy.
