Mia Ginger smiled and said, "Do you have plans tonight? Why don’t you co over to Cloudy Capital and stay, how about it?"
"Hmm," Koa Jackson hesitated a bit, "I can’t co over tonight, I can’t get away."
"Is that so?" There was regret in Mia Ginger’s voice.
Koa Jackson just chuckled and said softly, "I’ll keep you company next weekend."
"Alright then." Mia Ginger thought he had matters to handle, so she didn’t force him and chatted for a bit more before reluctantly hanging up the phone.
Koa Jackson took off his headset, and the smile on his face disappeared.
He was a bit distracted.
All the way, he drove his car to Cloudy Capital.
Seeing him arrive, Aunt Lee went out to the supermarket to shop.
When she returned, she happened to et Mia Ginger, who was walking the Chancellor.
After a few casual exchanges, Mia Ginger realized Koa Jackson had lied to her. Stunned, she asked Aunt Lee not to ntion they t, and she returned to Cooper Manor feeling heavy-hearted, having a troubled dinner.
Aiden Jiang was returning to Peace Province tomorrow, and after dinner, Aurora Cooper helped him pack his things.
Mia Ginger didn’t feel like sleeping, sitting in the living room watching TV.
She could hear the wind howling outside.
It was already windy when she returned in the afternoon, and the wind was quite strong, it almost blew her wig off.
As she watched the swaying branches outside, she suddenly missed Koa Jackson terribly.
Why did he lie to her?
Could it be he didn’t want to see her because he was upset about Zane Jackson’s matters?
Mia Ginger couldn’t be sure what he was thinking, and she sat absent-mindedly until ten o’clock. She told Margot, took the Chancellor, and went out again.
She had the key, opened the door herself, and ran into Aunt Lee in the living room. Seeing her, Aunt Lee breathed a sigh of relief, and whispered, "He didn’t have dinner, sat in the garden for a long ti, and seed to be in a bad mood."
"Why didn’t you persuade him a bit? The wind was so strong this afternoon." Mia Ginger said with concern.
Aunt Lee was also troubled, giving her a helpless look.
She was worried too, but Young Master Jackson always behaved so cold and polite, she really didn’t know how to persuade him.

Mia Ginger raised her hand to rub the Chancellor’s head a couple of tis, kicked off her shoes, and got onto the bed, directly snuggling into Koa Jackson’s arms. Her slender arms wrapped around his neck as she said in a wronged voice, "I had a fight with my mom, had nowhere to go, thought of coming here to sleep, how co you didn’t tell you were ho?"
As soon as she arrived, she both complained and acted coquettishly, her warm, delicate breath caressing Koa Jackson’s face.
Koa Jackson’s tense body slowly relaxed, but before he could speak, the Chancellor jumped onto his leg with a heavy thud, leaving him speechless. Looking down, he said irritably, "Get your dog down."
"It’s not just my dog, it’s our dog." Mia Ginger laughed softly.
