Why study journalism? It feels like you might as well study law directly.
Ali Harris thought casually about it and pulled up the blanket to prepare for so extra sleep.
Camden River pressed his thin lips and headed to the water room.
It was still early, and only one person was inside, soone he recognized—Roy Anders, the class president of Class Seven.
Roy was brushing his teeth, and when he turned his head and saw Camden, his movents quickened a bit. He rinsed his mouth and smiled, saying, "Camden River."
"Morning." Camden gave a slight smile.
"Morning." Roy wiped his mouth with a towel and got straight to the point, "Can I borrow your IELTS notes?"
Camden was montarily stunned, "Are you also applying for exchange student?"
"Yeah, my English is not very good," Roy said helplessly.
Camden nodded, "Co by our dorm later to pick them up."
"Sure." Roy smiled readily, grabbed his towel, and left the water room.
Camden instinctively gave him another glance, lost in thought.
There were only two slots in the entire departnt, and Mia Ginger seed to be preparing as well, and now Roy was preparing too. It couldn’t be that it’s just to study with her; it was a competitive situation, which surprised him.
After all—
Roy’s shaved head incident was a joke around the departnt.
Other guys had heard that he got chewing gum stuck in his hair while sleeping and found it amusing.
But Roy was indifferent.
The timing was just too coincidental.
The ti Roy shaved his head and Mia Ginger returned to school were too coincidental; thinking about how Roy usually took care of Mia, Camden knew clearly it wasn’t just a coincidence.
It was obvious, Roy liked Mia Ginger.
Once Camden finished washing up and returned to the dorm, Roy arrived soon after.
He handed the notebook to Roy and casually reminded him, "Mia Ginger seems to be applying for the exchange student too."
"How do you know?" Roy was taken aback.
"We had elective classes together last ti, and I heard her ntioning she was interested, probably," Camden said calmly, as if talking about the weather.
"Really?" Roy said while flipping through the notebook, "Thanks."
"No problem."
Roy nodded, turned, and left their dorm.
Soon, it was class ti.
He was a bit late, glancing around as he entered, and then walked straight over to sit next to Mia Ginger.
Among the six in their dorm, only Mina Lee and Mia Ginger ca to class, choosing seats towards the front on the right side.
Roy sat down and imdiately took out Camden’s notes.
Mia Ginger was right beside him, lowered her eyes naturally and saw them, smiling, "You applied for the exchange student too?"
"Just thinking about it, borrowing Camden’s notes to check things out first."
"His notes are quite good," Mia Ginger nodded, seeming to agree with his action.
"You’ve read them?" Roy asked, surprised.
"No, I just glanced at them last ti," Mia Ginger said honestly.
"He said this morning when I borrowed the notes that you were also preparing to apply."
"Yeah," Mia Ginger bit the pen cap and said softly, "Compared to you, I seem a bit inferior. You know, my English isn’t great; the IELTS might be quite risky for ."
Roy nodded and pushed the notebook towards her, "Then borrow the notebook of the genius first."
Mia Ginger: "..."
Why hadn’t she thought to borrow Camden’s notes to check them earlier?
Apparently—
At the end of last sester, his notebooks for each subject were photocopied by the students in the class into exam guides.
