"No regrets for this life?" Windsor Myres let out a chuckle, "Are you talking about ? Wasting ti?"

Mia Ginger’s fingers curled slightly, "You weren’t this sensitive before."

"That’s because I didn’t care about anything before," Windsor Myres said coldly, "Now I care about you, consider you as friends, but you want to leave anyway. Fine, but is there a need for all those grand excuses? If you don’t beco exchange students, does it an your future won’t be bright anymore?"

"Indeed, there’s no need to apply for an exchange program," Mia Ginger smiled, "But studying abroad changes everything sohow."

"Ridiculous." Windsor Myres looked at her, sneering coldly.

"It is quite ridiculous." Mia Ginger’s eyes suddenly welled up with tears, "You’re the one who keeps saying you treat as a friend, but in fact? You’re also the one who never truly treated as a friend, acting selfishly under the guise of friendship. Let’s just leave it at that; I don’t want to talk about the past anymore. You think we’re friends, then we are; you don’t think we’re friends, then we’re not."

As her words fell, she turned around directly and headed to the dorm.

Windsor Myres grabbed her, "What do you an by this?"

"Literally." Mia Ginger took a breath of relief.

Windsor Myres looked into her eyes, frowning tightly, "Be clear about it, don’t play riddles."

"Why did you hide the matter about Brother Jackson from ? Not a single explanation until the end?" Mia Ginger suddenly said.

Windsor Myres was taken aback, subconsciously letting go of her sleeve.

"Because of your relationship with Victor Williams, is it that you were entangled by him? Dallas Taylor sohow helped you and later asked you to hide it from , not telling that I forgot about Brother Jackson, is that right? Why? For your love, you can ignore my love, is that fair?"

"It’s not what you think, I..." Windsor Myres suddenly felt her mind go blank.

She had her own difficulties.

Thinking this way, she caught her breath and explained, "Victor Williams has our old photos in his hands, I can’t let Camden River know."

"So for you, is it okay to ignore my love just to repay a favor to Dallas Taylor?" Mia Ginger laughed indifferently, "Is Dallas Taylor’s favor more important than my love, is that all?"

Windsor Myres pressed her lips tightly.

Mia Ginger continued, "Also because he’s now taking over the Williams Family, right? Because he’s the decision-maker of the Williams Family, you can’t refuse, so you agreed to his request? Isn’t this selfish?"

Windsor Myres’ face froze for a mont, "He helped this much, no one would be able to refuse."

"I guess I’m not human then." Mia Ginger smiled, "If I were you, I’d refuse to repay a favor like this, and later on, make up for this favor in so other way. Really, it hasn’t reached a desperate situation, and yet you abandoned , only thinking about yourself."

Mia Ginger enunciated each word, "If this is friendship, I’d rather never have had it."

"How do you know these things?" Windsor Myres bit her lip, suddenly asked.

"If you don’t want people to know, don’t do it yourself," Mia Ginger tugged at the corner of her lip, saying lightly, "In this world, there’s no wall that doesn’t let the wind through."

"But now you and Koa Jackson are already married."

"Yes, I am married to Brother Jackson now." Mia Ginger placed a hand on her chest, speaking slowly, "We are married, so I know these things and have always pretended not to know. But what if we weren’t married? What if I married Dallas Taylor, and later rembered this, would I suffer and grieve? Windsor Myres, have you never thought about these things? Just because I got married, you’re not at fault? Is that what you think? Or is it that from start to finish, you never really cared about this, thinking it was not important?"

"I didn’t think much at the ti."

"Didn’t think much at the ti?" Mia Ginger laughed again, "Never cared afterward either. So, what do I count for you?"

"I think of you as a friend." Windsor Myres emphasized once more.

"I used to have a good friend," Mia Ginger looked into her eyes, suddenly said, "She wasn’t as flamboyantly beautiful as you, quite ordinary, quite ordinary. To give a birthday gift, she worked part-ti for several weekends to buy sothing I had my eyes on. She was a bit timid, hesitant in facing things; when pushed, she would subconsciously lie to deceive because of her fear. But even if terrified, she would always stand up at the last mont, scared to death but still helping . Even though she deceived many tis, I would eventually forgive her because I knew she had boundaries. Her boundaries were to ensure I wouldn’t suffer harm beyond her limits, even if it ant suffering herself in the end; that is friendship."

Mia Ginger’s tears fell, "Good friends aren’t just lip service; actions must follow. It’s not selfish possession but mutual sacrifice. It’s neither blind maintenance nor utter adherence but mutual supervision. While able to enjoy, also willing to endure hardship together. I used to have one such friend; we knew each other for many years; quarreled and once had cold wars, endured hardships, thinking we could also enjoy together. Unfortunately, she suddenly just died."
