The class bell had already rung. When she entered, Professor Lee had already started the lecture, giving her a tolerant glance as he looked up.
Mia Ginger gave him a small, apologetic smile with a hint of ingratiation.
The old teacher then ignored her, continuing with the lecture.
Mia Ginger let out a small sigh of relief, quietly sitting back at her seat.
The classmate who used to sit beside her was gone, replaced by Alice Sumr.
Mia Ginger was montarily stunned, smiled at her, and then said nothing more, spreading her textbook open on the desk.
Alice Sumr wrote a line in her notebook and pushed it over, "Thank you for helping Camden River in the last class."
"You’re welco, it’s what friends are for," Mia Ginger also wrote back with a pen.
Alice Sumr continued, "He seed unhappy when he ca in just now. Did he get into another fight with Windsor Myres outside?"
Mia Ginger asked her, "Have you resolved your issue?"
Alice Sumr was montarily stunned, taking a while to realize she was asking about the lawsuit. Frowning, she wrote, "Not yet, the old lady hasn’t woken up. The situation is at a standstill, and my parents are still waiting for the court session."
"Don’t worry too much."
"Hmm."
Alice Sumr, distracted by the change of topic, did not write further. She quietly said, "I didn’t an anything. I just couldn’t help but ask."
