Koa Jackson was silent.
She continued, "After Mia lost her mory, she seems to be more lively and cheerful, not as stubborn as before. She’s quite likable now."
"What exactly are you trying to say?" Koa asked her.
Lilian Jackson was montarily stunned, then gave a bitter smile, "Actually, it’s quite embarrassing, a bit awkward to say. I just wanted to apologize for that ti before. I shouldn’t have investigated Mia, let alone questioned or blad her, and caused such a scene. I originally didn’t want her to avoid it, but she forgot about it, and you haven’t ntioned it either, right? You don’t want her to rember, do you? So I can only apologize to you. Her words were sincere and earnest, and Koa’s expression softened a bit.

Not long after—
Mia Ginger returned.
She stood up directly, with no attachnt, "You guys sit here, I’m going back to rest."
"Goodbye, Sister Lilian," Mia called out.
Mia’s peripheral vision caught sight of Lilian walking away. Koa quickly grabbed her wrist and pulled her onto his lap.
The wicker chair, unable to bear the weight, tilted backward quickly, and the two of them ended up lying on the rocking chair. Mia, caught off guard, found herself lying on Koa’s chest.
As she looked up, she saw Lilian glance back.
Embarrassed and awkward, she muttered, "Sister Lilian saw us."
"If she saw, she saw," Koa’s handso face was adorned by the pale moonlight, his voice indifferent.
"She left," Mia averted her gaze and chuckled softly.

She just took one glance, clenched her fists tightly, and left again.
