Luo Chao raced down the street, and within a re five minutes, he arrived once more at the apartnt building where Shen Birong lived. After securing the car door, he sprinted into the entrance like a cheetah.
As he reached the fifth floor, Luo Chao indeed found Shen Birong's door lock had been tampered with. Since the lock was broken, the door was closed but could be easily opened with a tug. His heart instantly sank into freezing depths, and his eyes revealed a piercing coldness as he opened the door and quickly entered.
Luo Chao's heart was in his throat; he truly feared sothing dreadful had happened to Shen Birong. As he entered the bedroom, he saw a shirtless man standing by the bed, while Shen Birong was curled up on it. Her mouth was gagged with a cloth, and her hands and feet were tied, rendering her immobile, her eyes full of tears and terror.
The noise from the door imdiately startled the man. He turned back and shuddered at the sight, while Luo Chao recognized his face—unexpectedly, it was an acquaintance, Xie Dong, vice-principal of Shen Birong's prestigious school!
Despite having disciplined him previously, Luo Chao was furious to find Xie Dong hadn't anded his ways. Fueled by rage, Luo Chao lunged forward like a streak of light. Xie Dong had no ti to resist and was directly grabbed by the throat and lifted high.
Shen Birong's eyes were filled with surprised joy upon seeing Luo Chao, amazed that he had returned. How did he know she was in danger?

With his throat constricted, Xie Dong could barely speak clearly, knowing that a re squeeze from Luo Chao could snap his neck. Seeing Luo Chao's fierce intent, like a beast's gaze, he was truly frightened, and he actually urinated in fear.
Shen Birong's muffled cries shook her head, indicating for Luo Chao not to kill Xie Dong. However, considering such a despicable person dared to bully Shen Birong, Luo Chao would not let him go.
Just as Luo Chao was about to exert force, footsteps sounded, and in an instant, three people dashed in from outside, led by none other than Wang Qiang, whom he hadn't seen in a while.
