"Ahem." Fang Simin coughed twice and said, "Ruotong, let's hurry up and leave. We ca back a day early, and if the dia finds out, we won't be able to leave."

"Uh!" Li Ruotong, blushing, spat lightly, "Sister Fang, I'm just sharing a room with Luo Chao, not sharing a bed. How could you say that? It's so embarrassing."
"You're the embarrassing one!" Fang Simin retorted, "Even if you're not sharing a bed, a man and a woman in one room will sound bad. Letting the dia know would be disastrous."
Her manager firmly rejected Li Ruotong's idea, but Li Ruotong huffed softly, "Didn't my third uncle tell you? Luo Chao is now my bodyguard, responsible for my safety at all tis!"
Fang Simin froze, realizing that the Li Family had caught wind of soone planning to harm Ruotong, and during this dangerous period, a bodyguard was indeed necessary to protect her constantly.
No choice, this was how it had to be. Fang Simin relented, casting a furtive glance at Luo Chao, and whispered, "Ruotong, if he dares to do anything improper to you, call out to imdiately, okay?"
Li Ruotong was startled, then responded with a mix of shyness and exasperation, "Sister Fang! Luo Chao isn't like that; co on, go pay!"
Luo Chao stood to the side, couldn't make out what they were whispering about, though he instinctively felt it involved him.
After Fang Simin paid the deposit and collected the room keys, Li Ruotong said cheerfully, "Luo Chao, let's go."
However, after a few steps, a sarcastic voice chid in, "Oh, isn't this our big star Li Ruotong!"
Luo Chao looked over and saw a man with thick brows and large eyes but a sleazy expression, approaching with a beautiful young woman on his arm. The woman seed familiar, probably a second-tier star from a few TV series.
Seeing him, Li Ruotong's eyebrows furrowed a bit, and she said coolly, "Director Lin, what a coincidence!"
Director? Luo Chao was taken aback. He hadn't expected this sleazy middle-aged man to be a director. Holding a second-tier star as his little mistress, it seed this director had so clout.
