"Exactly, they can't get any direct profit from lending you money, but just because they can't get profit from you doesn't an they can't obtain it from soone else." Luo Chao explained patiently.
"Obtain profit from soone else? But... they lent money to , didn't they? Why would lending money to allow them to get profit from soone else?" Zuo Dahai seed to be talking to himself, as if recalling sothing.
Soon, Zuo Dahai suddenly widened his eyes, and his hands holding the steering wheel trembled, almost causing the car to veer into the opposite lane.
"Brother Zuo, whatever you've thought of, don't get too worked up, okay? We need to drive safely!" The car's wobble had startled Luo Chao. Though not afraid of a crash, he believed in avoiding unnecessary trouble, especially not wanting to get into an accident in such rainy weather.
Nevertheless, despite Luo Chao's advice, Zuo Dahai seed not to hear, his brow remained furrowed as if he'd realized sothing incredible.
After another while, Zuo Dahai finally spoke in a calm voice, "Brother Luo, are you saying that those loan sharks were willing to lend to back then because soone instructed them to?"
"Exactly!" Luo Chao snapped his fingers in response to Zuo Dahai, "Though it's unclear what their ultimate goal was, I'm nearly certain that the person who instructed the loan shark company to lend you money, and even set up gambling gas for you, was very likely the one you called the foolish wealthy man!"
"Hahahahaha..." As soon as Luo Chao finished speaking, Zuo Dahai suddenly burst into laughter, evidently having figured sothing out in an instant.
Luo Chao saw Zuo Dahai laughing heartily and didn't interrupt him. Luo Chao knew this must be the laugh Zuo Dahai let out in the face of the truth, although it was laughter, from which Luo Chao could hear countless untold hardships and sorrows.
