"Got it, got it." Hu Pei didn't dare to say anything else. He was genuinely scared by Luo Chao's mysterious aura now and didn't have the guts to provoke him any further. Just dealing with the Hua Family was already too much for him.
Hua Liunian patted his face with satisfaction, "Good that you understand." He then turned and walked over to Luo Chao.
"Nicely done." Luo Chao smiled with relief. "In the future, you should do more of these acts of punishing evil, promoting good, and showing off."
"Yes, sir~"
The Audi A8 drove out of Dynasty, heading straight for Qianjing District. Hua Liunian was driving, making Luo Chao sit in the passenger seat. According to his own words, there's no way he could let his master be his chauffeur!
"Master, why do you live in the district? It's so beneath your status. How about I get you a place in the high-end villa area of Liuhai?" He complained while driving, feeling that Luo Chao was settling for less by living there.
"Does your master look like soone who's short on money? True masters hide in the city, you don't understand a thing!"
"Ah! You are right, Master. Then I won't live in my family's ancestral house anymore. I'll follow your example and find a place in a district." Hua Liunian said with utmost seriousness, as if he's been enlightened.
"Ahem~~ do as you please!" Luo Chao now sowhat understood his disciple's ways and didn't say much on his tendency to emulate everything.
The Audi A8 drove steadily into the district. The district security had beco familiar with this luxury car over the past few days, so they didn't stop it.
After knocking on the door, Tang Yan opened it. She was cooking and, upon seeing Luo Chao bringing a tall, handso young man ho, was unsure of what to expect.
"Hello, Master's wife, I'm Hua Liunian," Hua Liunian imdiately bowed politely upon seeing Tang Yan.
"Uh... hello..." Tang Yan was quite puzzled by the situation, yet helped him up, casting an inquisitive look toward Luo Chao.
"Let's go inside and talk first."
The three of them entered the living room, where they saw Little Wolf sitting on the couch watching TV. This left Hua Liunian unsure how to address him — could he be the master's son? But that didn't seem right; he was too grown up. A fellow disciple? No way, the master said it was just the two of them, and that he was definitely the senior. No mistake about that.
"This is Little Wolf, you can consider him your martial uncle!" Seeing Hua Liunian's confusion, Luo Chao explained to him.
"Hello, Uncle Wolf." Hua Liunian bowed again. Although this martial uncle looked quite young, what the master says goes.
Little Wolf jumped up nervously, bewildered by this unexpected title — he was just a sixteen-year-old kid after all, not knowing how to react to being called 'Uncle.'
Only then did Luo Chao formally introduce him, "This is the disciple I accepted today, Hua Liunian. You can call him Little Hua. Today I'm taking him around for introductions."
Hua Liunian scratched his head, smiling and agreeing.
After everyone got to know one another, Luo Chao then said to Little Wolf, "Where did you put that knife I brought back last ti? You don't want to use it anyway, so just give it to Little Hua."
"At the usual place."
Upon hearing this, Luo Chao nodded. He said to Hua Liunian, "Co with ."
Leading him into an unoccupied bedroom, they imdiately saw a large knife leaning against the wall, akin to a door. It was the Zhenwu Liangsen Knife. Luo Chao, having the Green Forest Sword, didn't care for it, neither did Little Wolf want to use it, so it was perfect to give away.
As soon as Hua Liunian saw the knife, his eyes lit up with delight, falling in love with it instantly. Although the knife didn't have any fancy patterns, it had a winning overbearing aura. Just holding it could intimidate soone to death, a feeling Luo Chao knew well.
"Are you really giving this to ?" Hua Liunian couldn't believe it and asked again for confirmation.
"That's right, go ahead and give it a try."
Before Luo Chao's words had faded, Hua Liunian rushed over as if his pants were on fire, grabbing the handle, eager to pick it up and admire it.
He strained his arms but couldn't move it. He strained even harder, with veins popping on his forehead, but still couldn't lift it.
This made Luo Chao slap his own forehead, only then rembering that Hua Liunian wasn't a Superpower User; how could he possibly lift a nearly two-hundred-pound knife!
Sowhat embarrassed, he said, "I overlooked this. Let's do it this way. I'll hold onto the knife for now. When you're ready to handle it, then co and take it."
Hua Liunian was reluctant. He truly loved this massive knife so much that he wished he could wield it imdiately. But he had to admit he didn't have the capability.
"Master, can't I take it with now?" He still felt it would be safer with him, fearing that if his master changed his mind and refused to give it later, that would be tragic.
Luo Chao imdiately saw through his thoughts, rolling his eyes, thinking there's no way he'd go back on his word after giving soone a gift.
"If you have the ability, take it!"
Hearing Luo Chao's words, Hua Liunian's expression imdiately turned bitter. Indeed, with such a heavy object, if he had to move it by himself, he'd be in a fix, even struggling to carry it downstairs.
However, he truly loved this grand item with such an imposing presence. He couldn't help but plead softly, "Master~~ you said you'd give it to , why not see it through and help up to the car."
Ugh! His whiny tone imdiately gave Luo Chao goosebumps all over, making him quite uncomfortable. Helplessly he called out, "Little Wolf, co over here."
With a "whoosh~~", almost as soon as Luo Chao's words landed, Little Wolf appeared right before them. This left Hua Liunian looking at him as if seeing a ghost, internally realizing this little martial uncle was no ordinary person either. Clearly, he was in the living room the previous mont, yet the next he was here.
This made him admire himself more, thinking how clever he was. Hum, it wouldn't be long before I have such skills too.
"Brother Luo, what's up!"
Pointing at the knife, Luo Chao said, "Help your martial nephew move this. He can't lift it."
Upon hearing this, Little Wolf cast a disdainful glance at Hua Liunian, making clear what he ant — just that soone needed help with this trivial thing, what a weakling.
This left Hua Liunian's face flushing red with embarrassnt, feeling his face burning as he sheepishly said, "Sorry to trouble you, Uncle!"
"Alright, make sure to work out more in the future; you're not strong enough for your age." Little Wolf lectured him, walking over to the knife, grabbing the handle with one hand, and lifting it effortlessly. He casually swung it twice in the air and then rested it on his shoulder.
He uttered, "Let's go."
Hua Liunian was dumbfounded, not knowing how to move. From Luo Chao's tone earlier, he figured Little Wolf might be able to lift it. But he never imagined it would be this effortless, looking as if he was picking up a regular feather duster.
