Everyone fell silent, and after a while, Luo Chao finally spoke up, "I can give you the captaincy." He was trying to make a last appeal.
Eagle stepped forward and punched him in the chest, "What the hell are you talking about, making it seem like I'm here for power. If it weren't for you, who knows how many tis we'd have died. Don't you understand my aning?"
Luo Chao certainly understood; Eagle was truly tired, not in terms of age, but in spirit. After witnessing countless life-and-death situations and experiencing dangers others wouldn't even dare to imagine, he longed for peace, having grown weary.
"Alright..." Luo Chao sighed and walked away without looking back.
"Captain..." Mountain Cannon shouted at Luo Chao but received no response. His expression changed, and he strode towards Eagle, gripping his shoulder.
"Vice-captain, whether you leave today or not, you're leaving." Mountain Cannon tried to restrain him, forcing him away.
But Eagle was as agile as a fish, dodging swiftly, and with a twist of his wrist, he countered and subdued Mountain Cannon. "Stop ssing around; I'm genuinely tired. You guys have your fun."
With that said and a push, he released Mountain Cannon, tidied his clothes, and walked out the front door.
Mountain Cannon wanted to chase him, but Hou Dazhu stopped him. In a calm voice, he said, "Let him go! Although we can't fight side by side anymore, we'll always be brothers. It's enough to keep it in our hearts."
The others nodded in agreent with Monkey and gradually made their way out.
Only Mountain Cannon struggled to accept, as he was sentintal and had a teacher-student relationship with Eagle. His skills and experience were thanks to Eagle's guidance, so...
"Damn..." Frustration boiled down to a guttural curse. He slapped himself twice and sprinted toward She Qian's Lamborghini.
Everyone took one last look at Eagle's sowhat lonely figure before driving away.

"Wherever you ca from, go back there." Chen Yuquan calmly sipped his tea, addressing the forr Dark Sting mbers before him, "Your retirent is a decision by the military, already effective. I have no say in it. Continuing as such is pointless."
"So, are you saying, Uncle Chen, you've abandoned the Dark Sting card?" Luo Chao asked slowly, his gaze was sharp as he stared at Chen Yuquan, trying to discern sothing from his face.
Predictably, Chen Yuquan beca enraged, slamd a military-grade stainless steel teacup onto the table, and shouted, "What nonsense are you saying? When have I ever treated you as pawns?"
Luo Chao smirked coldly, ignoring the question, "So, what agreent did you reach this ti? Sacrificing my brothers, what did they offer in exchange?"
He could see it clearly; unless there's substantial benefit in exchange, Chen Yuquan's forces wouldn't give up on Dark Sting so easily. After all, in Huaxia, few special teams compare to Dark Sting.
For those in power, as long as they gain more, any sacrifice is deed insignificant.
Upon hearing this, Chen Yuquan beca calm, staring intently at Luo Chao, "Is this truly how you view Uncle Chen?"
Being stared at like that made Luo Chao uneasy; he hadn't co to cause trouble but simply wanted justice for his brothers. For a mont, he found himself speechless.
Chen Yuquan sighed, retrieved a sealed box from his desk drawer, opened it, and pushed it towards Luo Chao, "Indeed, a trade was made. This is what we secured, and now it's yours."
Luo Chao fixed his gaze on it, his pupils contracting slightly.
Mumbling, he said, "Uncle Chen... I was wrong!"
The box lay silently with six tightly sealed glass tubes, containing a green liquid. Luo Chao recognized it, and not long ago, he personally drank it to gain his ntal superpower.
"Uncle Chen, are these Superpower Potions for us?" Luo Chao asked tentatively.
"Of course." Chen Yuquan replied grumpily, "Who else would I give them to? Do you really think I'm heartless? Do you have any idea how hard it was to obtain these from the other side?"
Hearing this, Luo Chao bead with joy, jumping onto the table and planting a kiss on Chen Yuquan's cheek.
Mountain Cannon and the others were stunned, secretly wondering what treasure could make the captain so ecstatic.
Chen Yuquan was utterly disgusted by Luo Chao; being pushed to fifty and kissed by a man for the first ti was not a pleasant experience. He furiously wiped his face with a napkin.
"What's wrong with you, you little rascal! Damn it, I'm going to hit you!" He threatened, readying to strike.
Luo Chao seed indifferent, closing the precious box and temporarily handing it to Shangguan Tiantian for safekeeping. He said, "Uncle Chen, be content! That was my first kiss!"
With fury, Chen Yuquan had no recourse; this brat had been mischievous since childhood, having done all sorts of things.
She Qian quietly complained to Hou Dazhu beside him, "The captain's first kiss hadn't yet been given away; it's almost nightfall. Truly a pity for him."
"Uncle Chen, alright, we'll take off now, won't disturb your rest. Take care of yourself! Don't overwork." Luo Chao feigned concern and signaled to the younger brothers, then bolted.
Inside the car, he held the Superpower Potions, caressing them as if they were a lover. Happily, he said, "Let's find the Demoness, so I have sothing good to give her, instead of her always calling stingy."
Shangguan Tiantian drove, curiously asking, "What exactly is this stuff? Making the captain so happy."
The others squeezed over from the back seat, eager to catch Luo Chao's explanation.
Mountain Cannon, however, showed disdain, "Just so potion to enhance bodily strength, we've tried it before. This little bit isn't even enough to clear my lungs."
Infuriated, Luo Chao smacked him on the head, "Damn it, you really are a blockhead. How could you not recognize the value? Would I be this excited over re body enhancent potion?"
He took out one finger-thick test tube to show everyone. "It's partly why I brought you to Yanjing; one little bit is enough to stir a fierce battle among the high-ranking forces in all of Huaxia."
Hearing the captain speak so seriously, even Mountain Cannon felt he might have been overconfident. He hastily asked, "What exactly is it then?"
