"Thud thud thud!" The sound of hurried footsteps echoed as a middle-aged man rushed toward the ergency room, tears welling in his eyes.
"Zhenguo!" A woman holding a child stood in a corner, waving at him.
The man called Long Zhenguo looked toward her, and the boy in her arms softly called, "Daddy!"
Long Zhenguo was shocked as he looked at the little boy, almost unable to believe his eyes. He rubbed his eyes hard before realizing it was true. Two hot tears slid down from the corners of his eyes as he ran over like mad and embraced the mother and son.
"Xiaoyu, you're alive, you're alive, this is so wonderful!" Long Zhenguo choked up as he spoke.
The family of three hugged each other excitedly for quite a while before Long Zhenguo slowly ca to his senses and said solemnly, "Lulu, what happened? Didn't you say on the phone…" His wife Ruan Lu, with a lingering fear, said, "It was a young Divine Doctor who revived our son."
"Where is he? I must thank him properly," Long Zhenguo said, his fists trembling slightly.
Ruan Lu hesitated, her mouth moving a few tis before saying, "He is locked in the ergency room."
Long Zhenguo's brows knitted together imdiately, "What's going on?"
"It's like this." As Ruan Lu spoke, her face showed a great anger, and after hearing her, Long Zhenguo shouted, "Outrageous, really outrageous, what kind of city-level hospital is this, is there no law?"
His shout drew all eyes toward Long Zhenguo, who stord toward the ergency room with a gloomy expression. Just then, the sound of police sirens blared as three uniford officers approached, and Fan Ming went up to et them, speaking solemnly, "I am Fan Ming, the Director of the Health Bureau. The person practicing dicine illegally is in the ergency room, please take him away imdiately."
This was a city-level official, and the three police officers respectfully said, "Okay, we'll take this person back right away for a thorough investigation."
Just as the three officers were about to enter the ergency room and make the arrest, Long Zhenguo shouted, "What are you doing!"
The shout nearly scared the souls out of the three officers, who frowned unhappily and said, "I was going to ask you that, what are you trying to do, you're obstructing official duties, don't make trouble here."
"Is this an official duty?" Long Zhenguo said angrily, "Even though he doesn't have a dical license, he saved lives, his achievents outweigh his mistakes, what right do you have to arrest him."
Dean i laughed coldly, "Ignorance is frightening, even though he saved lives, he broke the law. Don't you know that the law is greater than sentint? We're carrying out our duties according to the law!"
"Nonsense," Long Zhenguo sneered, "Is a dical license more important than human life? Anyone who can save lives is a doctor, far better than you doctors who are worse than beasts."
"Watch your mouth," Dean i said, trembling with anger.
Today, there were too many people who didn't know better, Fan Ming said loudly, "This person is obstructing official duties, also arrest him and take him to the police station."
"What impressive authority you have," Long Zhenguo sneered.
Fan Ming snorted, "You asked for this!"
When the three police officers took out their handcuffs to arrest Long Zhenguo, he reached into his pocket and, in front of their eyes, flashed a brightly colored blue booklet, marked as Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee—Long Zhenguo!
The three police officers turned pale and retreated two steps backward, while Fan Ming and Dean i were almost scared to pee themselves. As the Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee, he could crush them with ease!
The Disciplinary Committee does not belong to governnt departnts but was intentionally set up by Huaxia Country to combat officials' corruption and misconduct. There's no cheating cat, and everyone has so blemishes; if watched by the Disciplinary Committee, the outco is predictable.
Fan Ming almost cried; the patient's family turned out to be the Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee, what bad luck, his lips trembled as he said hello, respectful and terrified, to Secretary Long.
Dean i wiped the cold sweat from her forehead, feeling soaked in her pants, "Hello, Secretary Long."
Long Zhenguo glared at the three police officers, nearly causing them to fall to the ground; they cursed themselves for getting involved in such a ss.
"Bring your leaders here, I want to see who gave you such authority to arrest people at will," Long Zhenguo demanded loudly.
The three officers felt a chill as the Disciplinary Committee Secretary was in a rage, and they trembled as they said, "I'll call imdiately!"
The three officers called the chief and received a series of curses over the phone, and then stood dejectedly at the spot without daring to move.
After ten minutes, a black car sped to the entrance of the maternity and child care hospital, and shortly, a well-built, handso middle-aged man ca running up, sweating profusely.
Long Zhenguo said coldly, "Are you the head of the district police station?"
The middle-aged man looked stunned, "You are?"
"I am the Secretary of the Municipal Disciplinary Committee—Long Zhenguo," Long Zhenguo said with a stern expression.
"Oh, Secretary Long," the middle-aged man smiled awkwardly, "I'm not the police chief, I'm the Health Bureau Director—Lin Dongcheng!"
Upon seeing the director arrive, Fan Ming felt like dying; the situation had escalated significantly, but why did the director suddenly co; it seed no one called him.
Dean i paled, understanding fully that a word from Director Lin could imdiately sack her.
"Director Lin, what brought you here," Long Zhenghai said amazed, "But this matter, you still bear so responsibility for not managing your subordinates well!"
"Secretary Long, let's talk privately," Lin Dongcheng whispered.
Lin Dongcheng and Long Zhenguo moved aside, and Long Zhenguo said, "Tell what you want to say now."
"Secretary Lan asked to handle this," Lin Dongcheng said cautiously, wiping his sweat.
"Lan Guoming?"
"Yes!"
"How did he know about this?"
Lin Dongcheng thought for a mont, "Surely has sothing to do with the young man in the ergency room, or why would Secretary Lan scold so furiously."
"Seems that young man is not simple," Long Zhenguo sighed, thinking about possessing life-saving dical arts, such a person is indeed extraordinary!
Long Zhenguo glanced at Lin Dongcheng, "I suppose you know how to handle it now!"
Lin Dongcheng nodded, then shouted toward Fan Ming and Dean i, "Both of you, effective imdiately, are suspended for investigation!"
With a thud, Dean i and Fan Ming couldn't bear this blow, they directly sat on the ground, faces ashen, knowing they were finished.
