Behind Luo Chao, there were two young girls walking, looking at Luo Chao's straight figure, each of their hearts secretly fluttering.

"The direction he's walking is towards our girls' dormitory."

These past few days, Lanya hadn't co to the office at all. In the past, Minister Lan would at least visit the office once, but over these past few days, she was nowhere to be found. The colleagues in the logistics departnt found it very strange, only Luo Chao understood that Minister Lan didn't want to see him.
And last night, Lanya had sent him a ssage, saying that Luo Chao should fulfill the last condition he promised her. Feeling guilty, Luo Chao was prepared to go through fire and water, but this one condition was to go to Jiangning University's girls' dormitory.
"I'm in Building 3, Unit 2. When you get downstairs, send a ssage, but the elderly lady at the gate won't let n into the dormitory, so just climb over the wall," After reading this ssage, Luo Chao locked his phone screen and put it back in his pocket, quickening his pace.
Even though he didn't know what Lanya was up to, he figured Lanya must really hate him. Luo Chao knew that going to this appointnt wouldn't end well, but after all, she's just a young girl. She wouldn't actually eat him alive, right?
Luo Chao soon found Building 3 of the girls' dormitory and made a quick leap over the wall. As he just landed, a tall, scholarly-looking girl with a delicate face was standing not far away, seemingly waiting for him for so ti.
"Hello, you must be Luo Chao," the scholarly girl said with a smile, extending her hand. "I'm Gao Lingling, Lanya's roommate. Lanya asked to give this to you."
At first glance at Gao Lingling, Luo Chao noticed the large bouquet of roses in her hand, as well as a plastic bag filled with rose petals.
Luo Chao took the roses and the plastic bag from her hand, his expression a bit perplexed. What on earth was Lanya trying to do? Is she asking him to confess to her?
"I've completed my task. Goodbye," Gao Lingling said, her eyes twinkling mischievously as she walked into Unit 2's entrance, her footsteps clattering as she went straight upstairs.
With a ding, Luo Chao hurriedly took out his phone, only to see Lanya's ssage, which read: "At the bottom of my dorm building, arrange the petals into a heart shape, then holding the bouquet, loudly shout, 'Lanya, I like you,' but rest assured, I will reject you. More importantly, don't move from the heart-shaped circle!"
Lanya hadn't called even once, always communicating through text ssages. Seeing this text, Luo Chao shook his head with a bitter smile. He finally understood what Lanya was up to. After that photo of them kissing leaked, it must have caused her great trouble, and she wanted to resolve this nuisance.
If he confessed to her and was rejected, then the rumors would naturally die out. But is it really necessary to go to such lengths? The issue with his sister-in-law should be resolved sohow. Just think of it as a farce. Luo Chao gritted his teeth, walked to the foot of Unit 2, and arranged the rose petals in a heart shape, then stood inside it.
As soon as Luo Chao stepped inside, he imdiately noticed countless heads bobbing. Virtually every window of the entire building had a girl poking her head out, and quite a few guys were leaning against the wall, waiting for a spectacle.
Luo Chao had already anticipated all of this. As a hyper-alert Soldier King, how could there be so many people hiding nearby without him noticing?
Surely Lanya must have posted the news on Jiangning University's BBS forum, otherwise, Luo Chao wouldn't feel a bit annoyed. Being rejected in front of just her was no big deal, but Lanya decided to play this way!
Luo Chao stood expressionless in the heart-shaped circle, holding the large bouquet of roses. After taking a deep breath, he shouted loudly, "Lanya, I like you, be my girlfriend!"
After the loud shout, all the watching boys and girls giggled continuously, waiting for the school beauty Lanya's response. How could a black sheep like him deserve the school beauty?
After a while, a picturesque face slowly erged from a fifth-floor window. "Haha! Wet chicken!" All the onlookers burst into an utterly piercing laughter.
"It's all over," Luo Chao glanced up at the building, feeling no trace of guilt toward Lanya, having let go made him feel a bit better.
From a distance, no one noticed that Luo Chao's hair and clothes weren't wet at all; he looked incredibly mysterious.
