Now reading: Chapter 1044: Only the Red Alliance Would Have This Kind of from The Unveiling of Secret Queen, a Romance novel by Brother Ling.

"Mr. Wafford, I think I’ll call Caryn Zachmann for help. She’s an outstanding alumna of Tsinghua University; she wouldn’t refuse to help," Stella Iversen said, too lazy to continue talking with the two of them. She didn’t even feel the desire to complain as she picked up the phone on the desk and spoke to Jackson Wafford.

This silent crossing was equivalent to ignoring.

Not respecting people at all.

Jackson Wafford was also having a headache and didn’t answer Stella imdiately. Instead, he looked seriously at Nathalie Quinlan, saying with gravity, "Nathalie, the docunts we are sending are very important. They need to be delivered to the Arbitration Committee. If they get lost, it would be detrintal to Professor Zachmann and the others. Do you understand what I an?"

The implication being that the docunts must be delivered by soone reliable.

"..." Nathalie Quinlan’s gaze was quite cold and impatient. She didn’t plan to stay long this ti, only intending to take the person back with her, hence she didn’t want to provoke any unnecessary trouble, or else she would have delivered the docunts herself.

@ilovebeingskinny... She lifted the brim of her hat, her black and white pure eyes showing a hint of contemplation, questioning if this person could be considered reliable.

Listening in for half a day, the young man who was confused by their conversation, seized on the key point they ntioned and interrupted, "Arbitration Committee? What Arbitration Committee? Are you talking about those people from the IT association?"

His tone was pretty casual.

Speaking of the IT association directly as ’those people’ showed he didn’t hold them in high regard.

Stella Iversen snorted with laughter, just about to say that the ignorant know no fear.

The IT association has a certain status internationally, similar to dical organizations. His casual reference to ’those people,’ who did he think he was?

Only the Red Alliance could speak with that kind of tone here.

Jackson Wafford gave him an extra glance, mainly due to his trust in Nathalie Quinlan, and couldn’t help but ask him seriously, "Do you know soone from the IT association?"

"Can’t really say I know them. Just like that," replied @ilovebeingskinny. Despite not understanding what they were up to, he still pulled out his phone nonchalantly, "You guys wait here, I’ll call soone down for you. Whatever you need to deliver, just hand it over to them."

*

Upstairs.

In the conference room.

Charles Quarles was pressing aggressively, arrogant and overbearing, showing an eagerness for them to make a decision today.

The mbers of the Arbitration Committee were extrely annoyed but had no way to deal with him.

Just as both parties were at a stalemate.

The phone of the IT association’s vice president began to ring. He checked the caller ID, and his already flushed and thick-necked face changed color, growing even more embarrassed.

But he still answered the call, speaking in a low voice to the person on the other end.

After the conversation, he put the phone down, looking towards Charles Quarles with a complex and odd expression, pushing his chair back, he said, "Please wait a mont, I need to go down and get sothing."

"Mr. John, I will wait for your return. I hope you can make the correct decision quickly after you co back!" said the middle-aged man as he adjusted the buttons on his suit. The black buttons had a high-quality feel, and his face was full of arrogance, with an expression of utter confidence that seed to suggest the Arbitration Committee would bow to him this ti!

The foreign man addressed as Mr. John did not respond to his provocation, but gave him another aningful look.

Without saying much more, he quickly got up from his chair, gave a few instructions to his assistant, and left with a swift stride.

The Red Alliance had always sided with the Cubicle Group, even though the Cubicle Group couldn’t provide definite evidence to prove that the chip researched by that university’s institute was a copy of their results. They still forcibly demanded that the association ban the other party on grounds of academic theft.
