It was highly likely she wouldn’t linger here for long; waiting for Jackson Wafford and his associates to finish their procedures, then et up with Audrick Zachmann and his group, she would probably head back to Beijing.
She hung her head with lackadaisical lashes, one hand tucked in her pocket when her phone started to buzz again without her responding.
[I heard that at the auction there will be mysterious small pills of high value, which used to circulate on the black market every month. Then, all of a sudden, they beca scarce. It’s been over half a year now, and finally, there’s news of an auction for them.]
When Nathalie Quinlan saw his ssage about the small pills from the black market, she narrowed her eyes and her fingers lay on her phone more indifferently.
She had been too busy lately.

So she hadn’t made the small pills, and she had given away all the ones she had made before.
The pills now circulating on the black market were probably from soone who had bought them previously and was now selling them.
Beforehand, Lowie Wilmar had ntioned to her that the market price for these pills had skyrocketed; what they sold for seven figures before was now being speculated starting at eight figures.
There might even be none to buy at the auction.
Nathalie Quinlan didn’t really care about that stuff.
As long as she had enough money to spend, she was content. Lowie Wilmar hadn’t asked her to continue the business, so she was happy to take a break for a while.

She had just put her phone away.

The ethereal voice of Sadam Vinson ca from just in front of her.
"Nathalie?"
Nathalie Quinlan raised her head and imdiately saw the trio she bumped into: ...
Sadam Vinson and Alfred Garland were there.
And there was another man standing at the entrance of the banquet hall, a distinguished Eastern visage, tall and straight – if it wasn’t Amadeus Yancey, then who?
Nathalie Quinlan raised her hand and irritably tugged at the brim of her hat, shielding her conspicuous face, her eyes and brows very dark.
What was this?
A chance encounter in a foreign place?!

Before long, the trio, including Amadeus Yancey, had approached her.
Sadam Vinson rubbed his eyes hard, confirming that he wasn’t seeing things. The girl standing in front of him was indeed Nathalie Quinlan. His mouth gaped open, and it took him quite so ti to find his voice: "Nathalie, didn’t you say you were going to pick up a relative?"
"..."
Nathalie Quinlan quickly raised her head, glancing again in a certain direction, phone in hand, her attractive eyes enigmatic, and that look was certainly not one of praise.
Amadeus Yancey caught the glance she threw his way, raised an eyebrow, his lips curling into a half-smile, seemingly in a good mood: "Guessed it."
His sentence ca out of nowhere.
Only Nathalie Quinlan understood it.
He ant he didn’t intentionally betray her; he just guessed she might be at the Golden Pavilion Hotel and sent her a ssage to et him at the entrance.
Who knew it would be such a coincidence.
They actually bumped into each other for real!
Sadam Vinson, unaware of their interaction, was still puzzled as to why Nathalie Quinlan was here, his brow furrowing into a ’Sichuan’ character. He couldn’t think of any explanation but one: "Your relative is... from the Illegal Zone?"
That would an Nathalie Quinlan’s relation was reaching quite broadly!
Nathalie Quinlan, taken aback by his question, seed unsure of how to handle the situation. Her head ached; she wanted to tug on the brim of her hat again, but it didn’t seem appropriate, lifting her gaze towards the utterly baffled Sadam Vinson, she succinctly explained the chip matter to him.
Upon hearing Nathalie Quinlan’s explanation, Sadam Vinson gradually snapped out of the shock of bumping into her at the banquet: "So, Nathalie, you ca here with Mr. Wafford and his group?"
