Her head still had a duckbill cap on it, though the brim wasn’t pressed so low, revealing a face of remarkable elegance and beauty.
Nathalie Quinlan had just arrived outside Sea View Pavilion when she received a ssage from Winston Sullivan: [I ran into sothing and will be late. Could you wait for with your classmates for a bit?]
She had seen the ssage in the group earlier that morning.
Winston Sullivan had ntioned this matter in the group.
Nathalie replied casually before stepping into Sea View Pavilion.
Sea View Pavilion was a mid-to-high-end restaurant. While it couldn’t compare to Rivendell, it was considered quite upscale in the university town area.
As soon as Nathalie entered, she was t with heated arguing inside.
"That private room was reserved by us first!"
"So what? We got here first. Ever heard of first co, first served?" A girl’s raised voice rang out, not at all endearing, filled with arrogant aggression: "Besides, there are only a few of you from the Chinese dicine departnt. Do you really need such a large private room? If you’re having a gathering, you can easily fit around any table in the main hall. Why waste resources?"
"You!"
Nathalie walked closer, spotting a girl with a baby face, looking adorable but now flushed red with frustration, her chest heaving intensely. She was clearly outraged yet at a loss on how to retaliate.
On the opposite side of the baby-faced girl stood over ten people. The leading girl was tall, with a haughty, unruly expression, her attitude showing complete disregard for others.
Nathalie raised an eyebrow, adjusted the brim of her cap, removed her earbuds, and walked forward, her voice raspy: "What’s going on?"
"Our professor reserved this private room first; it was ant for a gathering with the new students before the sester starts, to have a al together... but by the ti we got here, the Clinical dicine departnt people were also looking for spots."
The boy from the Chinese dicine departnt seed unprepared for this situation, fumbling helplessly, unsure how to diate.
"...They wanted the private room too, but it was already booked. When they saw us talking to the waiter, they insisted we give up the private room to them. Tiffany Olsen couldn’t stand it and started arguing with them."
Talking about it, he balled his fists in frustration: "That girl nad Chloe Bailey actually paid the deposit first. None of us have cash on us right now. So the restaurant’s stance seems to be that we should give them the private room!"
Encountering sothing like this was genuinely infuriating!

"I heard their professor called the manager..." The boy’s furrowed brows carried the suppressed fury of youth. In his heart, he deeply disapproved of Adelle Wafford’s actions, but his respect-for-teachers mindset kept him from outright criticizing her.
Originally, the private room had been reserved by them, but Chloe Bailey and the Clinical dicine group wanted to steal it. Instead of discouraging them, their professor even helped by placing a call.

"..." Nathalie lifted her gaze and spotted the manager of Sea View Pavilion. She recalled Amadeus Yancey had taken her here for a al once before, and the sa manager had hosted them.
Piecing together what had happened, she adjusted the brim of her cap and strode in the direction of the manager.
