Tiffany Olsen had just walked out of Sea View Pavilion. After discussing it with the people around her, she took the lead since she was thick-skinned and wasn’t afraid to make connections, and everyone agreed she should be the one to ask Winston Sullivan.
"Karaoke? I..." Winston was montarily caught off guard and was about to decline when soone had already grabbed his arm.
"Co on, Professor Sullivan, let’s go."

Winston found it hard to refuse, so he instinctively glanced at the last girl to walk out from the dining place. His lips moved slightly as he spoke: "Nathalie Quinlan, everyone’s saying to go karaoke. Are you coming?"
The girl had just pulled out her earphone cord, the brim of her duckbill cap pressed low over her face, but her delicate facial features were still visible. Her expression was calm and carried a certain effortless chicness.
Without hesitation, Nathalie raised her head and nonchalantly replied, "No."

Winston nodded again and glanced towards the side of the street, hesitating, "It’s hard to catch a cab outside. Let give you a ride."
Nathalie raised her hand, revealing a stretch of snow-white wrist, her brows and eyes bold and straightforward: "No need, I just called a car on a ride-hailing app."
She paused briefly before politely adding to Winston, "Professor Sullivan, you guys can go have fun—don’t worry about ."
She had made herself clear, so Winston gave her a nod and decided to wait with her until the car she had booked arrived.
A large group of people stood together by the side of the road for five or six minutes, watching as Nathalie’s car pulled up and she got in. Only then did they turn and head to the nearby karaoke bar they had reserved through a group deal.
