Ten minutes later, Stephanie Tanzil returned to her seat with her phone, looking grave.
"Auntie, who called you? You even went outside to answer it." Zeus Tanzil, young and hardly the type to be reserved or composed, casually asked but couldn’t help himself and pressed on with the previous question: "You haven’t answered yet. Is Caryn Zachmann really Lighten Chaser?"
Stephanie Tanzil’s head throbbed at the ntion of Caryn Zachmann.
She picked up the coffee in front of her upon hearing that, took a sip, and then placed the cup back on the table.
"You really want to know?"
"Of course I want to know!" Zeus Tanzil almost blurted out—wasn’t that obvious?
But when his eyes landed on his aunt’s serious expression, he forcibly held back, concern written all over his face: "Caryn Zachmann... she’s not actually Lighten Chaser, right?"
After saying it out loud himself,
he couldn’t resist cursing.
"Damn! How could it be her?"
Stewin Hoffman, Zayn Fisher, and the others were equally eager to hear Stephanie Tanzil’s response.
After all, the true appearance of Lighten Chaser had always been a mystery, and online, countless people had tried every thod imaginable but still couldn’t crack the mosaic barrier.
If they found out what Lighten Chaser actually looked like, they’d have bragging rights for a whole year!
"Mrs. Tanzil, is Senior Caryn truly Lighten Chaser?" Stewin Hoffman stared at Stephanie Tanzil with bright eyes, clearly excited.
During the ti Stephanie had stepped out to take the phone call, they had grilled Zeus Tanzil about the drama unfolding on Twitter.
Now, they all looked confused, eyes glued to Stephanie, awaiting her to unravel the final answer.
Unexpectedly—
Stephanie Tanzil clasped her hand on the table and sat for a few seconds, seemingly deep in thought.
A mont later, she raised her head and t the several eager, knowledge-thirsty gazes. Her expression was calm as she spoke: "If you want to know, go check Twitter."
Stewin Hoffman had a puzzled look: "??"
Zeus couldn’t hold back: "Twitter is a ss right now; everyone’s saying all sorts of stuff. How am I supposed to know who’s actually telling the truth?"
Stephanie glared at him briefly, picked up her phone, leaned back casually, and said, "Look at my Twitter, and you’ll figure it out right away!"
She opened the Twitter editing tool, flipped through an encrypted folder on her phone, and pulled out a video.
It was about five minutes long.
Before sending out the edited post, Stephanie lifted her head to glance at her sowhat clueless nephew sitting across from her and, as if debating whether to say sothing, suddenly remarked: "I have a question for you, Zeus."
"Huh?"
Zeus, who was completely focused on waiting for her to reveal the truth, abruptly heard his na and looked up with mild irritation scribbled across his handso face.
"Auntie, can you not ss with ? Just give it to straight, will you? Stop dragging this out! You’re seriously ssing with my heart rate—at this point, I might go into cardiac arrest!"
Stephanie couldn’t help but laugh at his absurd reaction. Her grin showed off her well-maintained skin, radiating a youthful glow that concealed her true age. Her charisma—undeniable—was that of an elegantly mature woman whose charm only heightened with her smile.
Stewin gazed at her, completely srized.
He couldn’t help but marvel—beauties are beauties. Age doesn’t change the fact that a beautiful woman is always stunning. A real showstopper~
"I just wanted to ask if you’d consider liking soone else." Stephanie’s tone was unhurried.
Zeus frowned deeply, most of his blood turning icy as he locked eyes with her: "So... Auntie, what you’re saying is Caryn Zachmann really *is* Lighten Chaser?"
Stephanie was both amused and frustrated, unable to fathom his thought processes that seed so far removed from standard reasoning: "I never said that."
