As soon as Nathalie Quinlan went up, the computer turned black, then a bunch of green gibberish appeared.
The gibberish was jumping around quickly.
It was very similar to the reaction when a ho computer breaks down.
Mr. Zachmann’s hand tensed up, veins popping out. His usually wise and calm eyes were always able to keep steady, but now that it was about Nathalie, he couldn’t stay calm. After watching for a long ti, he couldn’t make sense of it and worriedly asked Alfred Garland nearby, "What does Mr. Yancey an? Nathalie said she wants to recover the data, and Mr. Yancey is just letting her try?"
This wasn’t the original intention of calling over Amadeus Yancey.
Mr. Zachmann was truly worried about Nathalie, frowning, disregarding Amadeus Yancey’s status, and in a voice only the three of them could hear, lowered his voice and said, "Nathalie has never studied a major related to computers, and you just let her do it like this. What if she fails?"

Nathalie Quinlan handled things pretty quickly. She said she wanted to recover the data, checked the internal state of the computer’s disk, and opened the editor.
Everyone could only see her fingers typing at lightning speed on the keyboard, unable to tell what she was typing.
It just felt like her profile looked extrely serious, not like she was fooling around.
Myles Sullivan watched the girl sit down boldly, his heart racing, always feeling sothing was about to burst out of his chest.
He was anxious and frustrated.
But Amadeus Yancey was standing right next to Nathalie Quinlan, and besides standing there like he was doing now, he couldn’t think of what else he could do to stop what was about to happen...
"Does Nathalie know computers?"
Ivy Wilmar was similarly uneasy, though she concealed it well, the tension and anxiety in her voice still betrayed her.
Myles Sullivan glanced at her, tightened his lips, and shook his head: "I don’t know."
What he said was "I don’t know," not "she can’t."
Ivy Wilmar’s heart sank again: "...I’ve never heard of her knowing computers before. I saw the computer full of gibberish, maybe she’s just randomly typing to scare us?"
