Now reading: Chapter 1181: Nathalie saw Caryn Zachmann’s text message and from The Unveiling of Secret Queen, a Romance novel by Brother Ling.

Nathalie Quinlan was initially looking down, drinking and playing on her phone. Hearing the words, she awkwardly frowned and tried to dodge away: "I’ll do it myself."

"You can’t reach the hair at the back; it’s always wet and easy to catch a cold."

"..."

Amadeus Yancey dodged her hand, his lips curving up: "Just sit still, I’ll dry it for you."

Nathalie Quinlan was pressed on the shoulder by him, montarily unable to move, so she straightened her back, unaccustod to letting him dry her hair.

Amadeus didn’t start with the wind set to very high; the blow dryer emitted a gentle and soft breeze, quite different from how she would usually dry her hair herself.

Nathalie Quinlan squinted her eyes, wanting to move but felt it wasn’t appropriate.

Normally, when Nathalie dried her hair, she’d either casually blow it and wait for it to dry on its own or set the wind speed to maximum to quickly dry it.

Rarely would she take care to dry her hair slowly like this.

The wind blowing over was itchy and tender, very soft and gentle. At first, she wasn’t very accustod to it, but after getting used to it, it didn’t matter.

Nathalie Quinlan relaxed her shoulders and refocused her attention on her phone.

The phone she had just tossed on the bar, she picked up again now, her eyes darkening as she opened the text ssage from Caryn Zachmann.

The fact that Caryn Zachmann would even send her a text ssage was a rarity in itself.

She didn’t have any great expectations about the contents of Caryn Zachmann’s ssage.

Indeed...

After she opened it...

Nathalie Quinlan narrowed her eyes, her hand supporting her chin, her eyebrows quite cold and impatient, scanning through ten lines at a glance.

"Nathalie, what exactly happened at the provincial hospital? How did you manage to offend the Wilmar Family? Also, what’s the connection between Mr. Wilmar’s sudden death and you? Did you sohow implicate my teacher?"

At first, she didn’t particularly care, having held no hope.

But seeing Caryn Zachmann’s final sentence, a trace of anger inexplicably surged within her heart, her deep eyes becoming darker, and the corner of her lips lifted in a slight mockery.

Nathalie Quinlan didn’t even think about replying, she simply deleted Caryn Zachmann’s text ssage.

Then, she promptly blocked Caryn Zachmann’s phone number!

Deleting and blocking, the entire series of actions completed in one go!

Sadam Vinson had initially been forced to witness this interaction, but upon seeing that brief mont of disdain on Nathalie Quinlan’s face, he finally recalled the actual matter at hand, shifting his gaze from Amadeus drying the girl’s hair: "By the way, Nathalie, Mr. Wilmar..."

Nathalie Quinlan raised her head; upon hearing those words, the expression on her face beca significantly more serious: "Passed away."

Sadam Vinson himself had just co from the provincial hospital, so he naturally knew that Mr. Wilmar had passed away.

He actually ca here intending to inquire about the inside story.

"Was it because of Adelle Wafford?" He had heard so internal gossip on the way here, though it was not entirely accurate.

Nathalie Quinlan paused for a mont before slowly responding to him: "It’s sowhat related, but not entirely."

Sadam Vinson: "???"

What do you an sowhat related but not entirely?

Is it or isn’t it?

Nathalie Quinlan likely discerned what he was thinking, and said listlessly: "Mr. Wilmar’s health had already deteriorated to a point where it was almost exhausted; if well-rested, he could have lasted another two years. If not, he might not have survived the winter. But without this surgery, Mr. Wilmar wouldn’t have passed so quickly. Does this explanation make sense to you?"

Sadam Vinson wasn’t a fool, and with her explanation, he understood most of it, and then pinched his tall nose bridge, feeling rather headache-inducing: "So it’s still related to Adelle Wafford and her group! Idiots! Yonathan Wilmar too, knowing full well that Raymond Wilmar wasn’t trustworthy, yet he didn’t pay careful attention. Mr. Wilmar... he made many contributions to the country and shouldn’t have passed away in such a hurry."
